This was good, but there is so much information to learn around estate planning…very overwhelming. I have gone through a lot of this process before my mom passed, making sure her assets were protected and I had legal rights. I went to an estate planning class and of course worked with an attorney, there is still more to learn. Also, it made me setup things for myself and my children. Better to be prepared than to get stuck holding the bag. 😊
This show is much needed for all like minded individuals who are bosses or making their way towards being bosses. Make sure you all support shows like this. We need more of these types of conversations in our communities.
This is exactly what we low incomers are doing also. We have been studying private and public. This touches on one topic of the dozens upon dozens of studying and meeting of the minds. I am so happy that you and sis are sharing this because most of our celebrities are not as transparent and concern about anyone else besides the circle. I respect every single thing about you Rasheeda. I love you alls and keep glowing and bringing positive ness to the worlds!!!!
I just subscribed, Girl let me say that you are doing it the best with these videos of yours, I am so glad you started this channel for us. Generational wealth is so important for the Black Community SO PLEASE DO NOT STOP HELPING PEOPLE RASHEEDA BECAUSE YOU ARE VERY MUCH NEEDED. Thank You So Much Sis, Thank You
I agree! I don't have as much, but things change quickly! You don't know what's in store. I look at her videos took take note!! She's a big fan of mine. #teAmrasheeda
I love your channels Rashida. When I look at you I see strength, and a person that motivates me to be strong and to get everything I know is mine in this life time. This video was soo helpful to my life. Please post more more business informative videos.
This has been a great investment of my time. Thank you for your added value to us all. Every black person needs to watch this show so we can start to educate ourselves in this estate planning matters.
Yes, I have been waiting for this now this is black excellence. You inspire me thanks Rasheda I asked for this you came through. Congratulations on the show Boss Moves/you better Speak on it!😊
I love this chanel so much. I hope you turn it into a series away from reality TV drama. This is encouraging and this is where we are as black people now, growing and levelling up. I have been really encouraged!
Very good dear on teaching us.. I’m thankful for my legal background and the ability to see and watch how.. as you learn, you bring along others to learn in the process.. congratulations on your success.. I know you thank God that you’re hustling days are gone and now the financial rewards are steady spinning in💕💅💕🎖🥰💜😊🥇I claim my financial freedom as well!!✅🔝
This is good to know....I took classes in college...because it was a part of my degree plan....also it depends on the state you live in...because laws change from state to state.
Thank you Rasheeda this was so informative. This almost mad me sad 😔 thinking about what I went through when my father passed away 12/13/14 and I had to go to probate court to get his house BC I told him for 20 years to get a will. The judge grant me the home but the bank told me i can stay for only a year or buy it for $60,000. I was so confused BC my dad paid $13,000 cash for it 20 yrs prior. I only had $10,000. Long story but I moved out and the house sitting and that house was gorgeous. A guy end up buying it for $12,000 and did nothing to it😩 I paid the taxes up a well. Now I'm trying to buy my own home. You ladies are beautiful and I'm glad to see black married couples succeed. Thank you. God bless🙏
Sorry, this happened to you. A similar thing has happened in my family numerous times and will happen again in the near future on a much larger scale. I have a family member who is wealthy and is a real estate mogul. They own a real estate brokerage, a ton of land, lots of homes, and at least a 1/2 dozen luxury vehicles, all of which they've been purchasing since the 80s. They told me they aren't leaving anything to anyone and the state can take it all.
@@ExtraordinaryTrading ....wow that's crazy. This is why I have these talks with my husband and children about property, bank accounts and life insurance etc.. I got life insurance for my whole family years ago and my husband never wanted to talk about it but life happens. I do not want my children to suffer while I'm gone. I made sure my husband contribute to 401k. I have a large amount in mines. Just off topic but I think in our community we don't talk about stuff like that.
@@Mrs.Lina313 Good for you and your husband for doing the right thing for your family. Death tends to bring out the worst in people, so it's good to alleviate some of the stress, if possible. I've heard family members say that they don't want to talk about death because as soon as you create a will you end up dying. My aunt used to say, "Are you planning to live or planning to die?" Sadly, she passed away at the age of 40 with a 2-year-old and 2 pre-teens. Her home went back to the bank, which is what happens all too often in our community. I am glad that more of us are willing to accept the inevitable, talk about legacy planning, and take action.
@@ExtraordinaryTrading .... 40 is so young. I'm so sorry to hear about your aunt😩 I'm 43 and unfortunately have to take care of myself BC my dad's side of family all passed away from cancer. I have to get a yearly check. You never know your family member who has the properties may leave it you. 🤷♀️You never know. My dad never told me he put me as a beneficiary on his policy. I was the only one and it's 4 of us.
@@Mrs.Lina313Good for you for getting annual cancer screenings. Cancer runs in my family too. My Mom had cancer twice in her 30s. My aunt passed away from same cancer, lymphoma, which isn’t hereditary. My sister just beat cancer about 1 1/2 years ago. It’s a nasty disease. I’m hopeful that my aunt will leave some assets to family members who are in need. It could be life changing for many who are stuck with the same generational struggles.
God bless you this was very accomplishing and understanding..millions will be inspiring you really helped us we love you deeply prayers and love 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏❤💙❤💙❤🌷🌷🌷🌷
Iron sharpens Iron. Business people inspiring other Business owners to do more . That's what talking . People put their mouth on Rasheeda burcshe is in her bag .🤩🤩🤩
Kandi's comment is inaccurate. The majority of Black families own land and properties. Plots of black-owned land have always been passed down from one generation to the next. The issue in Black communities is that many people don't share information because Black people from her mother's generation and older don't want people in their financial business. I encourage my family members and close friends to begin thinking about who to trust when they die. Financially responsible trustworthy family members and friends show you who they are over the course of knowing them. The smart idea is to choose a few people (2-3) to watch each and audit each other. My legal advice to all of you is to turn over all assets to a financially responsible family member (s) before reaching between the age of 70-75, especially for those who have declining health. Don't wait until death is knocking on the door or your mind is diminishing
this! i’m pretty young(20) and i’ve known of some land in the country that belongs to my immediate family that I believe one of my aunts sold off some time recently, but now that i’ve found myself looking into real estate (and using it myself to be able to live of grid originally) i’m so mad we don’t have it anymore. :/
Fortunately I know all about this,,having owned businesses and having had many deaths that were asset planned. I would definitely do a Living Trust and Not a Will a Will is public and you don't want folks in your business, A Living Trust is total privacy. And yall you can get married privately as well, meaning, people cannot look you up..Talk to a family attorney about private marriage. And for certain as Rasheeda stated do your homework and be certain you Trust.
I wouldn't do anything with none of their husband their husbands are thieves all they do is take from them and they sit there and take it dim men don't even really like them they laying up with other women come on now everybody know this s*** is true they've been doing that we watch the show remember
Kudos to you Rasheeda for creating this series and sharing this important information.

HOPEFULLY KANDI RASHEEDA FRIENDSHIPS DOESN'T ENDS? RASHEEDA NOT TI /TINY.KIRK THEM HASN'T NEVER OWN TAXES SO DEEP..IF DID IT WAS PAID?

Wrong Road? To much information known?
Kandy dude broke...kurt paid.
He’s really not
He was making $250k a year as a producer on HOATL, he wasn’t rich rich when he married Kandi but he wasn’t broke either.
