Close range weapons should have that kind of damage (like Orkans used to) because if you are good enough to get close and take the risks (not talking about teleporting bots) you deserve the reward. To sit back 1099 M away sipping your latte and occasionally bother to overlook the battle field and fire AND do that kind of damage (prisma) just blows

Pixonic just making different designs on new weapons with same ability and use. Nerf the old Flux to have stupid premium players buy the Prisma. I don't want any of them!
took me a year to upgrade my flux to mk3 and just enjoyed it for a few days now prisma is invented and ruined my fun. Shameless Pixonic made it at least 5 times better than flux, even nominal damage is only 25% more and 2 seconds more reloading. My mk3 flux has 75%+ overdrive but not every close to prisma. I love the game but fuckxxx greedy Pixonic. After everyone buys it they will have a new update and nerf it. Sadly it's all about money.

Flux was powerful at one point. Then Pixonic needed more money so they nerfed the Flux to make another weapon just like the old version of Flux called Prisma. It all about pay2play. Because it's no longer a fun game where people will actually support it willingly. Some people who used to promote and support War Robots have completely dropped the game. Only people staying to promote are those who gets fundings/sponsorship from Pixonic. For example the clan I belong to pretty much entirely the clan has been offline for 3 years now. Only me and 1 other guy still gets on. I get on maybe once every 2 to 3 months.
Making stronger and stronger weapons & robots is how Pixonic is ruining their game. Fujin, Rogatka, and Gepard are some of my favorite robots. I just bought some Stings because they are the light version of my Hornets, but they are out performed my the boring Magnetars. I have a nearly maxed out Sharanga that I do not use because this game is more fun for the casual player in the bronze and silver leagues.
prisma is a really cool weapon, basically a better version of flux i can see it being effective, but mainly in tdm. i actually want to get 2 prisma for my hawk, won't use them in br, even tho prisma dps is actually pretty good at short range too.

I expected the Prisma to be better at long distance but I hoped that starting from middle distance (~500 m) the flux would be on top since the damage output is the same at all times. I haven't noticed the Prisma getting weaker at all during these comparisons.

My opinion, Prisma needs a nerf. I ran into a Master III player in TDM. Basically controlled the field and killed all my bots until I was able to kill him with 2 orbital strikes.

This thing needs a HUGE nerf ASAP. It’s literally impossible to get close to a robot wielding three/four of these, they deal wayyyy too much damage from a distance. Half your health is gone before you even saw what happened
