These people are clueless. They don’t know what “cashless” really means. It’s to control you!!!!!

Would you feel safe in a cashless society? NO! ONE SINGLE HACKER CAN PRACTICALLY STEAL ALL OF YOUR MONEY IN AN INSTANT!

darthvader5300 1/2 those hackers are working for banking sector & or former employees to those banks. So a healthy economy is one that allows both cash and cashless forms of payments to coexist together. Allow the public to determine which choice do they want to use. Convenient payment system or one where your able to physically value your money and it’s not just figures on a screen. So be prepared for cashless future, because that’s what they want us to endorse.

To boil this down to nutsnbolts this is the debate between liberty and security. Will you hand over some of your liberty for the illusion of greater security? Benjamin Franklin answered this back in the 1700s when he said "Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety."

Went to a festival with £200... Drug dealers don't do credit cards. Nor does the local car boot sale. And the homeless guy sleeping in the door way doesn't accept American Express. Can't work cash in hand, or give someone a 5'er for a favour. No 'Bob a job'. No paper round as the kids haven't got bank accounts. No Saturday jobs, same reason. Hookers... who wants that on their bank statement. Miss Kitty £200.... you work it out.

And then there's the betting system. Your bank manager will know.

Cards are a lot more dangerous than cash. They didn't mention how easy it is to overspend on a card when you can't see your money going.

This time we had cash and credit, we were lucky. Next time if cash has gone and something happens to the bank system or electricity which are all hackable what will happen? It took just 36 hours of lockdown to clear supermarket shelves, legal looting really. Next time without cash there will be no supermarkets in 36 hours. "Oh excuse Me Tesco manager, can I get credit, my card won't work" what do you think he will say? "Sure no problem" I doubt it. Fear no 1. Nothing to buy food with. Fear no 2. I'm going to starve that's what 66 million people will be thinking. To have a cashless system would be total madness and in time of an emergency total anarchy would rule. Millions would die across the planet, probably within a few weeks. Cash to be replaced solely by numbers and machines must never be allowed. We always need a backup.
