A Ride Out to Ladybower Reservoir & Rainbow Motorcycles Rotherham Fat Lad on a Bike

- In this outing I have a ride to the BMW dealer's in Rotherham Rainbow Motorcycles LTD for a look at two models in particular the R1200 RT and the K1600 GT.
After which I continue my journey into Derbyshire and head for Ladybower Reservoir Derwent Valley.
Once there I bring out the Canon 5D mkiii and take a few shots of the wonderful landscapes surrounding me.
During the rides I also put into use both the Drift camera's I own namely the Ghost S and the Stealth 2, showing them set up to shoot forward and backward views while riding.

Just stumbled across your channel while I was searching for some of the UK's best routes.
Looks like we are neighbors my mate, im in the Isle of axholme, Haxey to be precise.
Youve got a great channel mate, and it's nice to see another local RUclipsr/vlogger.

Hi Steve. I find it is normally a Volvo driver that blocks bikes from filtering and you just confirmed that. Nice one again and it proves we don't really have to go abroad when we have countryside like that at home. By the way after watching your videos for some time now (back to front date wise) I had delivered yesterday a Ghost X camera and an extra extended life battery so should have about 10 hours filming possible if I ever need that much. Looking forward to trying it out. Mike.

Steve, excellent video again mate, enjoying watching your back catalogue of videos during lock down, hope to meet up for brew later in the year, are you still going to wales this year? we was going May 26th but looks dodgy at the moment, all the planning is on hold, routes done, accommodation booked and maps sorted, and now just waiting, its horrible, hopefully there is light at the end of the tunnel.
Pleased your enjoying back catalogue Bazza and we are in same boat EVERYTHING booked and planned for June but not hopeful of going. We just have to ride out this terrible situation as things will return to normal and we will all appreciate everything so much more, so stay safe my friend and here's to a brighter future. ( and a brew)

Hi Steve.. I live in the houses just up from "the waterfall" and if you'd gone over the bridge and turned right you'd have seen a gate and to the left of the gate is another waterfall that looks mega after a few rainy days and the water is draining off the hills. There's also some steps there and if you went up them there's another photogenic shooting opportunity of the water flowing down a gully to that waterfall. Looks like you came at a time of low flow but try again after a few rainy days and you'd get some cracking shots mate.

I've heard they do dam busters reenactment at ladybower and derwent with bomber flybys. would be a pretty cool ride out to watch
