Absolutely correct, Youngsters need to be given more chances; their mistakes will gradually be fixed as they have years ahead of them, as against the senior players make same mistakes again & again, but they are still selected. Team India now needs full-fledged young players.

Just like Rahane, both Rahul and Gill play one innings well for every 10 innings failures. Look at their batting averages around 30+ in 40-50 matches. No players have been given so many chances like these two, Poor Shreyas Iyer, Sarfaraz khan, Prithiv Shaw, Karuna Nair were not given these many chances 2. Rohit and Virat should be dropped from 4th and 5th Tests and announce retirements if they fail in 3rd Test. They both average 18+ in last 20 innings in Test cricket. No more reputation and experience excuses. When were Sehwag, Shreyas and Laxman shown the door for failures in 8 innings why these two needs to be given long rope? 3. As conveyed few times in last 2yrs, Rishabh Pant is never a specialist no.5 batsman and just like other wicket keeper batsmen in the word except Gilchrist, he is cameo knocker once in a while but not specialist talent to play innings like Laxman or Dravid at no.5. So, he should be dropped to no.6 or no.7 depending on conditions both away and home. 4. And India should maintain trust and continuity in batting order and especially get out of this left hand and right hand combination mania. Its not T20 or ODI to change batting order and left-hand right-hand mania 5. Ashwin and Jadeja should announce retirement and nurture Sundar. Both Ashwin and Jadeja hardly had wickets and runs in foreign matches in their careers
