Best feeling, Best quality and Best guitar tone. Also Best VOX amp rig set up. I've feasted my ears on over 30+ years of guitars (les paul, Gibson/marshal amps, Gretsch, customs...etc.) but Brian has the best sounding Guitar that comes straight from heaven (without having to tune down to D like SO MANY heavy metal guitarists must do to get that thick deep sound). He only tunes down for "Fat Bottomed girls". (at half D). His set up is simple. Guitar + VOX ac130s + treble booster. Nothing complicated nor convoluted. PLUS Brian can get his RED SPECIAL to sound like 12 other types of guitars from a hawaiian ukelele to bag pipes (i.e. Gimme the Prize). My 2nd fav guitar sound is Billy Duffy's tone from the cult (i.e. "she sells sanctuary"). The dude uses no whammy bars.
That helicopter sound Brian does on his guitar at 1:43 and again at 1:46 and 3:25 kills me. I'm a huge Queen fan and that is one of my all time favorite sonic moments.
Fantastic reference for Guitarists to get the Master May sound and hear and learn all his parts to some classic Queen cuts. Waiting for my custom ordered GUYTON GREEN SPECIAL GUITAR. Thanks for posting these gems. Peace and warm greetings.
+Josh Zook Thank you for your message, The Guitar rocks. Check out on Facebook my Band The Hectorz and see our video clip for " Keep it out of Sight" Not a Queen cover but a Dr Feelgood song. Have a great day and peace to you.
listening to the into it really sound like black sabbath, which leads me to believe the queen and black sabbath where like the 2 heaviest bands in the 70's
In the Intro the 6th strings it's Tunned on C# played on 6-1-6-0.For Guitarists if you want play the intro correct so play this with E 6th String down tunned to 2 and 1/2 tone
Brian had the best guitar sound of all time
The best feeling and guitar sound ever

He is unique!

There is a faint, mini one at 2:11 too, behind the windmill power chord sweeps. Queen in the mid 70s were the best band on the planet, end of story.
LOVE THE "RED SPECIAL"!!!!!!
Best Queen song. That guitar solo at the beginning is amazing! 0:54
THE INTRO IS SOOOOOOO GOOD I love it

Oh god, I've been waiting forever for this. Thank you, thank you
Thanks I'm learning this song and this really helps

I'm pretty sure it's played with the tremolo bar to detune the string. He does it like that live.
@@SealedKiller yeah, there's really no reason to tune down unless you have trouble hitting the pitches
This is great, have waited to hear only the guitars.
Esse timbre de guitarra é o mais assustador e pesado do queen com certeza
Such character to this song.
2:28 begins the best part.
Correction; the best part begins at 0:00 and continues through 3:43
Not bad, Bri bro
