Use your grinder and grind a point on the rod before driving it, makes it go easier when hitting rocks, foundations, or roots. What about a little hearing protection ???
Have the same SDX Max, was great for drilling into granite to split for the mancave, and yes, need electrical run out to it, and of course grounding rods. Just ordered the attachment 👍
Thought you call to check power lines, gas line etc before digging. It hit against something good thing wasn’t a live gas line. We all get in a hurry these days but should always be safe. Cool tool seems to do a great job.
We just built our house. It in a old hay and corn field the only lines on are property is what we put in. But yes it has been checked before we build

As an advice, if you leave your water hose while running the hammer drill it makes the process a lot easier.
Yes, they have, and I can't even find this one anymore in most places. The closest one I see now Is like 10amps and sds plus not sds max.

I haven't tried, but I do think it could, but you would need the right bit. I haven't been able to find one. And you would need to be able to push or pull down on it. I don't believe it has enough weight to do it on it own. Doing a 8 foot grounding rod was a challenge because of how high the starting prostion was so high.
