It’s a reference to No More Deals and Last Breath, which are the AUs or ATs that the Chara and Sans in this battle are from, respectively.

@@Lipe326 well I think innocent could be argued to be the right term, they obviously had some sort of wrong done to them by their race, they jumped down a big ass hole which could've killed em, and they sacrificed their soul to free the monsters (before you say "well they both had control over the body so chara didn't die" there isn't a way they would've known about that happening).

This is incredible! it's one of the best animations I have ever seen, and I am not even a fan of undertale, great video really well done.

I feel like this should be what is happening in the second run in undertale since chara wants frisk soul (but we saw what happened when they fought) so “it” manipulated sans into thinking “it” wants to help (because sans doesn’t even know it)
Didn't chara only reset AFTER they got frisk's soul though?
This is probably at the end of a pacifist run where chara (just like in the game) tries to remind you that you can't escape from the consequences of your actions, and since last breath's in the title i assume gaster refreshed sans's memories aswell

The thing I like about this is that this is actually possible, Chara isn't really on your side they just go along with what your doing, It could be possible for what happens with Sans to happen again it would just be a little different

I find it so amusing at the beginning of the fight, the way Chara gets Sans to dodge is by throwing their knife at him.
Basically This Is Like The Budget Version of Story Shift Chara. But Buffed Attacks And The Action Fight Is Longer. If this animation was a full game with 3 phases? The Title Would've been called "Breath Ti'll The End Of Your Last Corridor."
