I had to laugh....that 'noise' is where I put the wrench down for a while...it kept popping out of adjustment with that 'terrifying' noise..lol. I went by the owner's manual but it didn't give the expert instructions that you did turning the wheel in gear....I'm headed back to the garage with renewed determination! Thanks a lot, man.
Hi. Nice to find another build in the UK. Yours look great BTW. I have had pretty much all the 360 issues over my teardown and rebuild. I am now tearing down again - as based on your video I clearly have internal issues with my rebuilt clutch. There is way too much slack when adjusted off and no amount of tinkering is curing it.(I have just discoverd I hadnt tightened up my clutch basket and the rod was pushed through too far). Big sigh, large tea, choccy hobnobs and cracking on... cheers.
Ah man that sucks ! We now have it running bang on but they are fiddly, we fitted VM carbs (best money we could have spent ) and pamco electronic ignition,do you have any videos of yours ?
There just some that we found on EBay ! They came in different colours too. We’re hoping to make another video soon off the bike on the road, subscribe to keep up to date !
I am so looking forward for some videos on this bike! Could you post the link to the ones on Ebay? I was doing some research and there are hundreds it seems.
Thanks Chico Just as another bit of information for you ,when we got the bike on the road all was fine but one day we were stuck in traffic for a while and because the clutch was held in for that lone the cable stretched just a bit and the “THAT NOISE “ happened but we didn’t have a screwdriver or the spanner with us 😂😂😂😂😂 ,So now we never leave home without them 👍👍👏👏👏 If you want to see the finished bike we have an instergram page #astonnealemotorcycles Any other questionsjust drop us a line
Thank you!
That was easy to do!
Same method for my 72cb350
