      @@brett444 IMO Gotham is kinda toxic, this and Danyas are far more valuable.
      Chessbrah and Danya walk you through the logic of their moves and use “x” level tactics to beat X level players. Gotham on the other hand crushes new players with IM level tactics and insults their intelligence.
      Not to mention he clearly gets hella butthurt anytime a troll criticizes him and he would suck a fart out of hikarus arse.

      @@TheSkatersk8terskate I agree Levy's videos are educational in a different kind of way but are still educational. He isn't toxic, it's a sense of humor. It's like a friend calling his other friend an idiot. People aren't meant to take it seriously and he never intends for it to be that way. He isn't afraid to stand for himself, idk what you mean he gets butthurt(example plz?)

    Thanks for this series Aman, not only have you helped improve my game, but you have also allowed me to get rid of any of the chess anxiety I have struggled with and just enjoy the game for what it is.

      One of the most important hurdles to overcome is to realise that an opponent's attack is not scary at all, can catapult your rating just by having trust in yourself

      @@saymoes I was stuck at 600/900 for ages until I decided on a break. Came back calmer and less intimidated and shot to 1400 in a matter of weeks. Just take it slow and look at the board for what it it.

      Chess anxiety is the worst. I'm just starting to get over that after coming back to the game. Knowing that you used to be better and playing worse...is the worst. 😁

    You have a pretty unique concept here! I'm rated ~1450 but found all of the earlier videos in the series informative too. Usually when GMs/IMs do these "climbing the rating ladder" videos they play at their top level all the time, this way seems more helpful.

      @@damiester1 I feel for the guy. Maybe I hold myself in too high a regard, but that's how I feel most of my games go. Playing like a genius until suddenly boom, queen's gone, and back down I go into the low 1200s. No matter how smart on anything else chess related I just can't seem to stop myself from making the dumbest blind plays every other game.

    I don't really have any specific thing to say but I want your engagement rate to go up so that more people get to see this amazing channel run by two fantastic creators. This series feels really dumb at first but it's actually insanely helpful. Just beginning with not making one-move blunders and THEN moving on to tactics or positional chess is such a vital part that seems obvious to do but in reality isn't done much at all.

      Tal played like that against Botvinnik in their world championship match in 1960 (game 3, if I remember correctly). It was an interesting game, that ended in a draw

    I just started playing chess and I went from 800 to 1000 in a week from watching this, last night I beat a 1500 and mid 1300 handily in casual blitz. Amazing work, keep it up.

    This series and chess fundamentals are the only two that actually helped me increase. After I watched the last episode. I won every new game since. Jumped over 100 points in a couple days.

    Top tier chess learning content. The procedural improvements make so much sense with the rules, and it really is the closest thing to a "colour by numbers" approach to getting better at chess I've ever seen. Keep it up!

    I started playing in January and I’m now almost an 1000 rated player, and honestly I feel like I’ve improved more since watching your videos in the last week than the past like 2 months of just playing games.     I love this series. I know you mentioned once on stream these videos get the lowest views of basically anything you upload and I'm wondering if that's just because it can only be targeted to such narrow elo audiences for them to make sense. Either way this stuff has helped me a lot and I think it's exactly what I needed. Hoping to need to watch all the other ones too, successively, in the future.
