The teams are good. Some could be better but it’s the not pointing the toes for me
True.. I think teams try to dance so hard they become sloppy. Some also just be doing so much that they don't execute their moves before going to the next
I agree! Pointed toes is basic technique for just about all types of dance
Agree. And some of them need to work on synchronicity, formations, and timing. If theyre doing like a ripple effect, the timing should be clear that that is what theyre doing. Otherwise, it just looks out of sync and kinda sloppy.
Some majorette teams don’t point there toes
Pointed toes comes with more technical dance training. It’s not huge in majorette
these girls need to point their toes ! it’ll look 10x better and as a gymnast , technique and majorette dancer it urks me 😭😭
Yesss fr I been a gymnast for 9 years but then quit and now I’m in majorette an when I be seeing majorettes with unpointed toes and bent legs it hurts my soul 😭🤦🏽♀️ I think it’s the gymnast in me lmao
Felt!! Did cheer , gymnastics and now the head captain of a majorette team and the no pointed toes is just a small thing lol . They need training to clean up their motions over all! They ain’t do bad tho just need more work! Always enough space for improvements! But everyone did good! 💜
Ion care what yall say i coach in Florida this was a good ass competition it was the hair whips energy and time they spent preparing for this because everybody came hungry everybody did good these kids doing something positive the negativity has to stop

All of these kids are very very talented props to them!! It’s just the routine that looks a bit off , with a little more time they could all be amazing teams!

These two teams stood out for me. I agree with Sierra Grier about pointing their toes. If they honed these areas, they'd be off the hook. Their attitude, energy and their all around talent is obvious they were born to be Dancers and Athletes. I loved the choreography and these two teams kept up and was in line with each other. Good Luck to All the Dancers with such Awesome Talent! NYC loves you 🤟

I commend them all first of all. I love to watch stand battles. I wish they would've let their talent do the work and left out the anger. Attitude is necessary but not anger. Shut them up with your skills!
When I was watching DD4L I remember Miss Diana told them they have to move as a team for them all to look good if they don't it's going to look sloppy ... These girls did good it just need a little bit of work

@@meya.channel2925 it does matter because that's how competitions work. Those are basic rules/easy points. Judges might be looking for different things but that doesn't change the fact that they shouldn't be sloppy. They are having fun, but they changing these habits will make them even MORE fablous dancers.
My team khaotic twist is only 5months old , WE STARTED IN JANUARY & only getting better , sincerely COACH JLEE 💙💚
For them to be a new team they did pretty good but of course they need more practice to be better prepared. But it was the lack of sportsmanship for me in the captains battle because that’s definitely not the way to go and that’s not role modeling for your team either 😕

for the teams theres no technique at all . no one EVER pointed their toes and red & black/silver teams dances looked rushed through (10+ years of experience here )

@@jazmensteele9334 definitely not when a judge don’t like 1 move in 1 category and decides you should lose the competition by not giving fair ratings through out the rest of categories. I like when they square up like they about to fight.
This was hard for me to watch. First I want to commend them all for working hard and going out there and doing their stands. But they were everywhere, rushed, angry....etc. I barely seen precision. It was like they got too excited and counting went out of the door. Several teams had people off beat with each other, it just was not done with togetherness. Sharpen up and remember the goal and I think this competition would have been brilliant. (10+ years of dancing)

Majorette is a angry style of dancing especially when it’s stand battle if you don’t understand that then don’t speak on it we don’t actually act like det it’s just an intimidation for the battle
What happened to pointing toes, counting and going full out with dancing ? Some cuts from their coaches should’ve been made for all the teams in my opinion. And all that extra bucking and moving at the end of stands would’ve got you cut at competitions in NC & VA .

Because that's how it is in the dance world. At the end of the day it's all love NO BEEF. We shake hands after and congratulate during award time.. until then it's war.

Your statement made no sense. Judges look at technique and minor details. Pointed Toes is a basic technique that every dancer don’t matter what style learns. None of these teams were together and everything seemed rushed. You got people looking around at others for the next moves and it looks a mess and sloppy. Coming from a majorette dancer AND cheerleader. I can tell you this ain’t it

Not gone lie but here’s the truth some of them ate but not flawless or on timing and don’t fully finish out some stunts and it’s weird you can definitely tell. The girls are way stronger and can really dance their ass off but I felt like it was a whole mess lol but I liked it all at the same time . So that’s just my opinion so yeah free country .
