You don’t understand how long I’ve waited for this! The MTT was my most-built MOC as a kid, and I used to rewatch the game clips with the MTT in them to try and make this version out of my own parts, even when I had the 2007 MTT set! Thank you! A part of my childhood has been satisfied!
thats awesome! I also had the 07 version but always loved this one, and I never really made a close looking version of it until now. I think its one of the most memorable builds from the game for a lot of us!
I think it was around $125 USD plus shipping from several sellers on Bricklink which adds up fast too. I'm pretty sure the cockpit was like $4 or something
@@BigBrickEnergy oh, ok! I already have an expansive part collection, I had the old MTT, so I def need that cockpit and a couple more of the “arms” of the cannons or whatever those are called lol. Thanks!
@@BigBrickEnergy Update, I actually built one for myself! I was able to get all parts from my existing collection but the hatch and two of the cannon “arm” parts. I actually did my own unique interior design, with a cockpit for a single droid, a manually-deployable rack (just pull it lol), and a very spacious rear that I’m debating turning into a command center or droideka storage. Also an easily-removable cockpit! I used some tiles instead of plates!
its very cool that someone actually made an effort to recreate this. I always found the in-game MTT the coolest of all of Legos MTTs. Perhaps I'll build that myself, but not in brown then :y
Just came accross this video, and I must say it’s cool to see TCS stuff being built in Lego that we haven’t seen yet (used to build some of the things from the game)
I remember being surprised as a child when i saw the MTT in the star wars game in 2005 and seeing that the only lego MTT that was on the market was the 7184 released in 2000, which in hindsight is quite hideous looking considering what it was trying to look like. We did get the 7662 in 2007 which was an incredible set, but an expensive one as well. I was always quite sad that we never got the one seen in the lego games because it looks really nice, with that classic mid 2000s lego star wars feel. Would be interesting to know if that set was based on something they planned on making, but ended up scrapping because it was so long after the first movie and the MTT wasn't seen much after that. Or because they had begun work on the ultra version that they released in 2007.
i believe all the designs in the game were done by people hired by TT games rather than the regular designers with the lego group (aside from the few that actually were official sets), so i could be mistaken but i don't think it was an early design for the set. but it would've been a great time for them to release one, and perhaps it inspired them to design the 2007 one. would've been cool if lego actually made more sets from things/locations in the game, like Dex's or Kamino
Oh yeah, currently collecting/buying parts for this thing, i have both the 2014 and 2007 MTT, ordered the 2000 one a couple days ago, guess my favorite star wars vehicle
all my stuff is open air right now but ultimately I want glass when I have a more long term place and funds. I try to use a dust spray can every month or 2 to keep up with it but it still sucks
that would be a longgg video. there's a link in description for the instructions I used from the guy who did it. only costs a couple dollars and it would be unfair for me to basically steal the design from him and give it out for free so I would encourage ppl to support him, he has lots of other TCS build instructions too!
if you mean price of the pieces I think it was about $125usd plus shipping from a few different sellers on Bricklink, but if you have one of the official lego versions you could probably use tons of the parts from that or your own collection

@@BigBrickEnergy about how much did this run you? I’d imagine the most pricy part was the brown Tie Fighter cockpit?

This channel deserves more subs
As a kid I have dreams for long about this one. But not from tcs game tho. From OG LEGO STAR WARS THE VIDEO GAME. thanks for the video tho. ❤❤❤
Great video !!!
I’ve been looking for a classic collector for a while. Keep up the videos. BTW do you display on open air or in display cases?

Does anyone knows is there a moc for laser turrent from LSWTVG gunship cavalery? That one with red pipes and Bionicle black shield?
i haven't seen it anywhere, but maybe if you look on Rebrickable or snoop around instagram i'm sure someone has done it before
Thank you
Hello, did you order the parts?
I ordered the parts from Bricklink
@@BigBrickEnergy Okay, and did you order everything from one vendor or multiple vendors?
it was multiple vendors so shipping added up fast. I think I talked about it in the video but it was like 6 orders
I am officially your 248th Subscriber.
thanks dawg, gave you a sub too
And how much for all those?
