  • Every year, volunteers around the country count the number of homeless people on a specific January night. This “Point in Time Count” helps determine federal funding for cities fighting on the frontlines of America’s homeless crisis. The Daily Bruin followed volunteers around Westwood and learned about the process of the local count.
