I love sneak peek videos. I make bets with myself on how many "I can't find it on the website" comments there will be. Getting closer to another "BBOB: Chopocalypse" video needed.
Honestly, I’m just curious if you happen to know how long before the worktuff site will get more stuff, pretty much everything is out of stock over there.
vic at work tuff had to upgrade to a bigger shop. he has 21 different knife models already in the works. he should be getting knives out in august-september. night hunter should be released around October
I dunno what I'm doin wrong, every model I'm interested in is never available. Same story with my grail knife (jx5 the vengeful one) Starting to think I'll never own one
Hey Chris, I fell in love with this knife as soon as I saw it, but can’t get one because they didn’t make them yet. Any idea when they are coming out ? I also have to ask will you sell me yours? I really love this knife.
When I started bushcraft 5 years ago I was all about big knives! Now I barely use them. I either break wood using two trees that are close together, or a folding saw. To me, big blades are cool to delimb branches, or carve a spike real quick. But my tomahawk does that even better. Big blades are still cool just for fun and showing off though.
bibi green, My personal experiences agree with each of your comments above. Additionally, hawk very quickly breaks down into a thump-stick and ulu effectively providing two additional tools along with increased breakdown-packability. Hawk + FixedBlade (around 5-6" blade - RatManDu, etc.) are my daily woods users. Hawk makes such a great limbing-tool with multiple grip lengths allowing great options. Add a folding saw ..., and living the high life with endless possibilities.
A recurve blade can be one of the most effective and efficient shaped blades around I love my buck thug design by Ron hood its a beast for its size and it is very manageable for smaller taskes
As soon as I saw this one I knew I had to have it. Picked mine up at Blade Show 2021. Price is/ was $260. Got my picture taken with Zeke, made my day! Mission accomplished!
Recurves are indeed harder to sharpen 5:47 if you use traditional water stones or a diamond plate. However, a ceramic rod, a small guided stone sharpener, or a belt will make quick work of a recurve.
@@preparedmind101 can't wait for the jxv is it going to be a dlt exclusive again, and if so would love for you to do a video heads up for us Jessica fans.
Man work tuff has some great blades coming out this year. Your blade. The puzon predator. The proper chopper. Then the blade hunter Cutchin designed. Soooo much hurt on my bank account lol
Call it the Beaver Cleaver ! " Get into the choppa's " as Ahnold Schvarzeneggar would say. I'm into choppers. Got to get me one to try out. I like the other one also but the finger control slit just doesn't cut it for me. Give me one without the slit and I'll buy it. The name Night Hunter is too funky.
The best chopper ever made was the original JessX. I've got one and keep it razor sharp with a Ken Onion Work Sharp sharpening system. No need for anything else for chopping wood
I can't understand why people make huge full flat choppers, I meen i guess its cool wearing yourself out pulling it out of the wood every swing smh. That being said work tough did a great job and im sure its fun and has that wow factor but its not for me lol.
It's actually a hunting knife. For hunting the night. But I gotta film when there's light out so instead I just chopped wood. Improvise, overcome, adapt as Gunny Highway would say...
WOW, that thing is badass. That might be the only knife I've seen that might be able to compete in chopping with my "Giant Killer" Bowie... (I'll find the link to my video and edit this comment) Edit- Here's the Giant Killer (5lb bowie) ruclips.net/video/dPsCck3_hMc/видео.html

I was almost that guy...I got too excited and went straight to the website without watching the full video 😂 Man I need this blade though.
@@NICKGUTTED I bought the prototype at Blade Show 2021. It's AWESOME!!
This would be perfect for spreading peanut butter and jelly……😘
That’s exactly what I thought,lol
Just got my Night Hunter holy chopper it's a beast
Man Work Tuff Gear has some bad ass stuff out there. Great video my friend!
Good lord ! That thing is a beast ! ….

I think it's because big knives are meant to be a one-does-all option in the woods, but no knife guy buys just one blade lol
That's a Beautiful Piece of Metal, Love It!
"I wish I could...buy a dead pig or something." 🤔-🤣
Holy Lord! That’s a beast. So much for an axe.
"It's subtle..", yes those were the exact words I was thinking of when he pulled it out of the sheath, LOL
Similary Viper carnera
You could quarter a chicken 🐔 or a rabbit 🐇?

What’s retail on this boy, I googled and could not find it
itll be around 270
How is it possible to buy any of these wonderful toys?
work tuff gear website, it'll be available around October

Chopping on bouncy logs like that one is difficult. That thing is nuts.
This has a Lord of the Rings cool factor going on. They should have named it Gimli's toothpick!
Idk i may need something a little bigger
“It’s subtle”. Great line.
Awesome video keep making more you are always very informative with your videos great job and keep making more you have my support big thumbs
One of the nicest kukris I’ve seen. They’ll be sold out before I can afford one
Grt video. I prefer recurve blades. My present Folder & fixed knife are recurve
Well Chris, do you have an idea as to when it will be out? I missed out on the last run of the JX-5, I kinda like this one.
Waiting to verify. And don't forget there's the JXV coming in the fall.
@@preparedmind101 can't wait for the jxv is it going to be a dlt exclusive again, and if so would love for you to do a video heads up for us Jessica fans.
I’ve got the JXV in my sights already brother, thanks for the reminder, I won’t let that one slip away.

Guess if I need to light a fire I'll have to walk five minutes back to my place and get it.
Great review as always 👍
What is your opinion about
El Chete by Tops Knives vs. Night Hunter ?
What a beast of a chopping knife 👍How is it in comparison to the TOPS El Chete or the Bark River Ja-Nap? 🤔
How much was it ?
Haven't hit my leg yet. You sir better knock on wood. Beautiful blade but I'll run old school Jess-X till she fails.
Your blood pump will probably fail before OSJX does.

Would that work well for paring radishes?
You're a really good chopper and I really liked the drama music intro.... do you use eyeliner? cause your eyes are striking.
Looked like the edge had chips in it 😐.
No
Good choice to wear gloves.
Love it!
Need a bigger pocket 😄👍
how similar is it to a traditional kukri?
What about a review of the Tops storm vector?
Definitely underarm pit Worthy.
Not liking the edge on it just saying
