Hmmmm…can’t help but say this should have taken 1st place, I think most would agree. Won in every category except TE, thoughts people? (No disrespect, Hunter is still a monster)
With all due respect to both players, I just clicked Hunter at +172 -12, and Justin at +164 -15. Overall I think the judging panel at PNWR this year was very good, perhaps the most experienced and qualified panel we've seen at a regional contest. Justin's 2.7pt advantage in evals wasn't quite enough to outscore Hunter's very difficult freestyle. But I'm so impressed with Justin's progress over the past year and can't wait to see what he brings at Nats and Worlds!
That’s an excellent summary thanks Connor! Results must have been fair then. Both phenomenal freestyles and Justin is certainly on the upswing! Nats will be a VERY tight one this year
I’m with Conner judging wise, though when you see a freestyle as fresh and as innovative as this, it’s tough. This is a winning fs in my mind. It’s a little sad that innovation bears little to no weight in the current judging system.
@@ConnorSeals I agree, everyone seems to have the same click proportions that you do as well which is true for my clicking too. It was really close margins, but he just hit riskier stuff. Im curious what everyone’s thoughts are on the current weight of the evals, because my tech score certainly wasn’t low. We both went sloppier than usual which also made it interesting but in the end he just hit enough risky stuff to push him in front.
Lol
Did I remove enough slack tricks?
@@justindaueryoyosno, you gotta do more speed combos bro
