    To hide important information like at what RPM the bike can do certain speeds - which with simple calculations could give away gear ratios and that sort of thing. F1 and MotoGP Racing is very secretive in that way, the other teams analysing video like this could get an edge on HRC.

    no idea but im guessing its so other riders dont see it and get an idea on what speed they should be doing around the corners ect.

    HRC doesn't want the other manufacturers to know how many revs the bike is capable of making.
