  • What's up! This day was not supposed to be as great as it was. Luckily
we sent it anyway and managed to have an awesome morning here in Navarre, Florida! I'll recap the tips I mentioned here as well as link some gear below!
    TIPS
    1. Use a Rapala X Rap in the Glass Ghost color, size 14, shallow diver. This lure is money!
    2. Take a long cast and wait 10-15 seconds while peddling forward before flipping the bail on your reel. That is a good trolling distance between you and your lure.
    3. BRING A GAFF OR NET!!! I didn't have one with me this day as I'm experimenting on how I can catch and release the fish. If you want to make sure you land one, have a gaff or net at all times! It makes it a lot easier to land the fish.
    4. Once you have the fish fairly close to the yak, peddle forward so the fish pulls up right next to you. This makes gaffing or netting the fish really easy.
    5. I didn't mention this part, but once you catch your tuna I highly suggest bleeding him out if you want to keep it. This improves the mea quality greatly. You can cut the gills or puncture a hole right behind the pectoral fin.

Usually November - March. This season has been a little goofy though. There’s still a few around but they’re thinning out a lot. I’d plan for a week trip in November if I were you. But it’s totally worth it man! 🤙🏼

@@hookcraft_fishing That's something to look forward to. Thanks for sharing and keep it, RUclips is a grind, but worth it as you build passive income.
