If you look at the opinions of scholars historically, many scholars had the opinion that music is halal as long as the message is good. What's agreed by everyone unanimously is that music talking about debauchery (sex, intoxication, etc) is absolutely haram. And this is why I support the music made by these artists. It's a much better alternative for youth compared to what's on the mainstream.

Its so crucial as a society to address mental health and the impact these various factors have on our well being. In the end, when your back is against the wall the materialistic things and the lavish lifestyles aren’t even worth the attention let alone the conversation. There is no real satisfaction ever obtained when chasing the ideology that success only pertains to a monetary value. So many of us are struggling in the same ways and I wont pretend its not difficult to lose hope or feel defeated but I do always go back to this Hadith whenever I find myself comparing situations or asking “why”

This world is a prison for the believer and a heaven for the disbeliever.
