This is my sincere advice from my own experience. Delusion in sin is very very real, Allah might be answering his dua but not in the exact way he wants it. The humility that might be to come could be the thing that really brings him to Allah like he asked. We all want things figured out in our heads ASAP but life is just not that way, always always a learning journey. May Allah guide us and make us his humble slaves.
Ameen
and i'm kinda sure what u just said is ALL because of him doing music yeah? if we wasnt doing music, would you have said that ? cuz me, i saw a sincere brother who spoke with his heart.
Ameen
@@ocerco93 Yea, we shouldn’t shy away from giving advice when someone is doing something that Allah prohibited. We can’t reject a sahih hadith based on how we feel. We put Islam over our desires any day, that’s how it should be. And the comment wasn’t even rude in the slightest. We complain about “haram police” yet when someone is policing haram in a good way, we still have a problem? That just makes me realize that some ppl don’t wanna hear the truth no matter how it’s said. Let’s be sincere in how we approach Allah’s command:
Prophet (ﷺ) said “From among my followers there will be some people who will consider illegal sexual intercourse, the wearing of silk, the drinking of alcoholic drinks and *the use of musical instruments* as lawful.”
-Sahih Al-Bukhari 5590
We all know that these are major sins, and if it wasn’t why would it be mentioned?
Major sins are not to be taken lightly and actually, taking it lightly is even worse than commiting the sin in the first place. *It’s major to Allah, that all that matters.*
May Allah make us sincere and may He guide us ameen.
@@Ukhti.fantak45 i never said its rude ? i was legit asking a question.
And oh yes, a major sin that is not in the quran ? the music is really unique.. i do not any other ''major sins'' that is not in the quran, don't you guys think this matter is way more complex than u thought?
Allahuma barik. Loved how he spoke about his mom and her struggles but always making sure deen was there. I'm in the same situations (revert raising 3 kids alone Alhamdulillah Allah kuli hal)
Allah make him and his siblings the coolness of their moms eyes ameen
Ameen
Your reward will be great and may it be your entrance to Jannah. Ameen. Sabirun Jamil.
he's not a revert tho :) but its true, that he sounded like one sometimes.
@@ocerco93 but his mum is and that's what the sister mentioned
@@abudujannah. You Right... my bad.
@@ocerco93 his mom is a revert raising 3 kids alone is what I was referring to...
I can relate to this brother so much. I’m American Muslim. I felt the same way after 9/11. May Allah give me peace and guide me on the right path
May Allah bless Mustafa Briggs. The work he has done for so many of us Muslims, especially young Black Muslims is truly remarkable. His Bilal series has exposed quite a lot of ignorance that exist in the Muslim world in terms of Islam in Africa. Alhamdulilah we don’t get our deen from Saudi! Great interview with our brother Khaled, his growth, maturity and sincerity is quite clear for those who have been following him since his early 20s. Keep at it my brother, noise is just noise! May Allah continue to give you Allah! Send my salaams to Umar!
We need to stop calling people who advise haram police. Islam teaches us to enjoin good and forbid the evil so why are we calling it haram police?
Big facts
Yes that’s true but theres many Hadīth showing prophet ﷺ was good to sinners like the man who prayed but stole too prophet said paraphrase perhaps his prayer will stop him stealing and the man stopped stealing! You being too harsh on someone could take them further away from the religion
@@MillhouseSpeaks never did i say treat sinners harshly however it is upon a muslim to enjoin good and forbid evil.
@@krushkrushemz1718 Eid Mubārak
@@MillhouseSpeaks Big difference between personal sins and spreading rebellion in PUBLIC. Yes, stealing effects the public in one way but corrupting the hearts in this way is a straight FASIQ. Would the Prophet Muhammad SAW sideline himself why KS makes drill tracks??
C'mon Habib....relay Hadeeth in context please??
Love you Fisabillilah
Been following Khalid like mad mad early on social media, i really feel like we both had the same questions that he had which led us to some point in life, he's really influential in my life, through him i got exposed to a lot of Enlighted Individuals that changed my life and made my faith in Islam more stronger because of the Baraka Boys Podcast that he used to have, from there i got exposed to Umi his Brother, Mustafa Briggs, Mamadou Taal, which eventually led to me knowing Mufti Abu-layth and that is a whole different dimension of change, but now they stopped it i dunno why, but that podcast really changed my life & even made me love Islam more, it literally brought Baraka in my life in that sense so i'm always great to him..
Thank you Khaled🙌
What a smart guy, may Allah bless him.
I was following khaled for a long time, especially during his vlogging days. Miss the vlogs icl.
Great convo with diverse bunch of guests, keep it up InshaAllah
Agree, with the ending of the interview, especially how the religion (Islam) should be judged by the scripture and not by these celebrities that embrace Islam! They’re only human and as correctly stated the Prophet Muhammad SAW should be our sole role model.
2 hours! Looking forward to this at some point. The brother is insanely talented MaShaAllah, but we can't agree on the instruments.
What time stamp does he mention the music?
@@JUSTJAYNOW Watch the whole thing, it's worth it.
I don’t know how I feel about it. I understand podcasts are conversations but this felt like a monologue. It felt imbalanced, but I respect the things he had to share and respect to the hosts for being such great listeners.
I can say that it is always valuable to learn about different perspectives and experiences, and to approach sensitive topics with an open mind and willingness to understand. It is also important to stand up for what you believe in and not be intimidated by those who try to police or judge the actions of others based on their beliefs.
Mashallah I used to go to secondary school with Khaled he changed so much. Great brother
How did he change
@@TC-ts2ns let’s just say a lot 😉. I knew him for 5 years in secondary and I’m not gonna put out his personal stuff about him. But sometimes I get emotional when I see Khaled even though we never was close friends only just classmates alhamdulillah
@@MohamedShou he’s very private
@@MohamedShouwasn’t he a choir boy? There was a bbc documentary about that. I doubt he was raised Muslim . Is he ashamed of his parents? Only Christian parents put their children in the choir 🤥
khalids spiritual 3rd eye is wide open n he expresses from there ,im same as a muslim so i totally understand him, his path is to god battling the ego through his life experience, i love his work it makes me in touch with my soul when shaytaans come through my ego, may he stay blessed, his music /message has saved me many many times to align in with myself❤🙏
Ma Sha Allah! Brother also have a beautiful heart as well as beautiful voice❣️
Subhanallah the brother is a good brother been listening to this brother for years but really hurt me and the family and all my brother to see this brother doing what is halal to Instruments. I still listen to all his old work because this is what is halal. The brother said one thing that is wrong YOU SHOULD ALWAYS SERVE YOUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS FIRST to help them get closer to allah then make things that are haroom and try to get people to look into Islam. Brother why Islam went big is because the sahaba and the great leaders of Islam never bent the rules or broke them for the non Muslims they showed them how Islam was didn’t have to water it down. It’s simple do not complicate things and say it’s for the non Muslims when it’s clearly for your own nafs. May allah swt guid our brother and may swt remind our brother his duty is first to your brothers and sisters.
This guy is beautiful.
Bro this brother use to do exactly what I did!! I use to sit down some where and literally contemplate on what it would be like if I did not exist. Subhan Allah, I have never met anyone who did this too, I would tell brothers that before I became Muslim I use to do this but they could not really relate! Allahu akbar
May Allah guide khalid. He seems all over the place, always justifying his desire to carry on with his music and the life his leading. A true believer gives up what Allah and the prophet peace be upon him has prohibited. The way of the sunnah is to emulate the actions and saying of the Prophet peace be upon him. I never came across anywhere where music was allowed. May Allah guide all the Muslims.
Words from Malcolm X... Don't be in such a a hurry to condemn a person because he doesn't do what you do, or think as you think. There was a time when you didn't know what you known today.
May Allah guide us all to that which pleases him ameen.
He is justifying something that is haram in Islam sister…pls stop defending this
Aameen.
Ignore the other comments. You made duāa for the brother and mentioned what is apparent, nothing wrong with that.
@@JohnCarter-tm5us and the person that made the above comment said 'A true believer gives up what Allah and the prophet peace be upon him has prohibited'. A true believer isn't perfect, we slip and we fall off the wagon. We are made to sin and those that Allah loves are the ones that repent. The way people go on is like he's committing shirk. Allahu allem maybe he's gone that way because of the Muslim community and their harshness in dawah. May Allah surround him with brothers that are good for his akhira ameen.
do you claim to know better than the centuries of Ottoman ulama who didn’t raise concerns about music? if not, then maybe reconsider that there might be a valid ikhtilaf in terms of music
SubhanAllah Ma Sha Allah
Yoooooooooooo whaaaaat. I swear to God I was about to post a comment on a khaled siddiq song saying his music reminds me of 50 cent back in the day... Then the next video is this and he says 50 was his father figure, whaaaaat. There are no coincidences. My two favs gotta collab one day. Ghetto Qur'an pt 3 😎
...This is an classic example why the ummah has problems, you have an Imam not forbidding evil, but rather just letting the brother promote music like it's halal, and the therefore allowing misguidance to spread, Imam Shekeel needs to make a public announcement of Tawbah and go in to retirement...1000%
Prophet Muhammad s.a.w said...
“Among my ummah there will certainly be people who permit zina, silk, alcohol and musical instruments…” (Narrated by al-Bukhari ta’liqan, no. 5590; narrated as mawsul by al-Tabarani and al-Bayhaqi. See al-Silsilah al-Sahihah by al-Albani, 91)

I thought he was on some suffi journey?
May Allah keep him steadfast and guide us all .
love khalids work, absolute gem he is for helping those seeking truth
Mad haters in this comment section. Read what Ghazali says about music. There is difference of opinion and he is obviously a man who is driven toward Allah. May Allah bless him. He doesn’t get his deen from Saudi!!!
salam brother , the problem people are just throwing out names like imam Ghazali. please research imam Ghazali and you will know Al-Ghazali contributed significantly to the development of a systematic view of Sufism and its integration and acceptance in mainstream Islam.
@@ohyoudidntsay And what's wrong with that? isn't that a good thing?
It was 2020 Ramadan
No way he’s from Leicester
Brother, who cancelled you?
He used to be big back in the day when he used to do "Nasheeds" "No Instruments" type music, but ever since he searched on the matter & came to conclusion that music instruments isn't haram, he started making them, so he lost a lot of followers & that demographic really boycott him, that what he means by "Canceling"

The prophet peace be upon him said we shouldn’t ask too many questions or ponder on things beyond what we should be concerned about • apologies may ALLAH forgive me. Aameen! because it is not a actual quote from the Hadith but along the lines • when we overthink in these things and bombard our minds the shaytan uses this against a man to the extent we now have atheist & all of the other ist that’s about now.
May ALLAH (SWT) Forgive and guide us all. Aameen !!

39:10 sounds like he got laced
what's ''laced''
Yup. I feel the same way
Could be worse. We could be listening to heavy metal or Rock.
Who listens to heavy metal or rock 🙄 Melodious tunes are better!
Why did you bring this patty on he failed to launch a rap career when he wasn’t Muslim then he finally got a bit of clout and support from the Muslim community and then starts to move dodgy linking up with sufis and saying music is halal (loads more questionable stuff) your just causing more fitnah giving this nerd a platform

Any affiliation to Kudriasova?
ermm what the freak dude
god strike me down if im lying. while i was at university 4 years back, when he was married he was in this females dm clearly trying to speak to her in a flirtatious way, asking to see her.
You really shouldn’t be exposing another Muslim in public or on social media. Rather, if this bothered you, you should’ve approached the bro on a 1-2-1 basis there and then or afterwards, imparting your advice or nasiyya.
Full snitch
How is that bad
@@ari-jv people make judgements and assumptions. As they say “don’t assume” as it makes an “as* out of you and me!” Even if he did what he did, why didn’t the brother above, approach and confront him personally? He loves music more than Islam so ppl no longer listen to him and his songs are now fully haraam
