Ah yes sprinkles bursting during Winter, that happened at my apartment complex, LUCKILY my apartment wasn't affected but a year or so ago someone's apartment emergency sprinkle bursted during an extreme temperature drop and caused a chain of other sprinkles on one side to burst and water was gushing out everywhere and the fire alarms went off scaring me awake from a nice nap I went outside and there was water EVERYWHERE and as I said my apartment wasn't affected. Then a few months later during extreme heat weather during the summer my neighbor's apartment located behind of me emergency sprinkle burst flooding her apartment and since there was a lot of water a lot of it flooded my bathroom (that's how close together our apartments is). The mercury in the emergency sprinkle somehow melted due to extreme heat. So yeah it wasn't fun last year lol.
