I also think this show still holds out pretty well considering it came out in 2004 which it’s a few years short of being 20 years old 😳 some parts are a little cheesy but overall still funny. Some show back then now are so cringe I can’t even watch them without being second hand embarrassed lol.

I know exactly how he feels. I introduced two people once and spoke highly of each other and all and they got married.....but I wasn’t invited. I thought I knew the two separate people and their families well and hung out a lot with them and all. Kinda sucks, but life goes on. Maybe I done something wrong or offended them somehow? Wish I known so I can apologize.
It doesn't sound like they were good friends. I had like 3 friends since 3rd grade all the way up until sophomore year. We all started smoking weed. And then like 2 years after graduation, I decided to quit smoking and they bailed hella fast. And we were all pretty good friends at the time; at least I thought we were. Oh well. That would make sense if it's an affair that's open to the public. Being that the guest list is supposed to be made up of the bride and groom's family and friends, the reunion aspect wouldn't have been a factor.
I personally think Josh has some deep seated resentment of Drake because of past issues relating to the show. I have no doubt Drake got the majority of fan mail, and that the tween girls thought he was gorgeous. Drake is hardly responsible for how the show was written, and it's not his fault he was good looking, and in shape, where Josh was pudgy and nothing spectacular in the looks dept.

Josh probably didn’t even know about that, and if he did, ignoring it and not going to the authorities would be an accessory after the fact.
People grow apart and people change. When you add in fame and fortune you get to see the people at their worsts to try and protect their way of life. Josh turned into a typical influencer type who hangs with David Dobrik and treats his old friends like trash. Drake turned into a self absorbed douchabag who manipulated a child.

And keep in mind that as teens, Drake was known as the popular good looking guy that girls had a crush on. While Josh was seen as the chubby dorky kid. Josh was probably bullied by the media which is why he went on a crash diet and lost a lot of weight by the last season of Drake and Josh.
