  • The idea is that I (Fogheart) could do a regular slot where I compose on a livestream. This particular video demonstrates what it would be like to use iOS apps like GarageBand and iMaschine 2, on my phone, during the stream rather than Cubase.
Let us know what you think about this becoming a regular video or livestream (which would be better?) down in the comments!
The song covered using iMaschine is 'Starlight' by Muse, and is of course not owned by me at all :)

Not an Apple guy myself, but this is interesting nonetheless. Good stuff!

Can you export/import as midi? Like using the phone app for quick ideas on the run and then import into whatever DAW prog you have on PC?

So, I've looked into this and whilst you can export audio stems (as well as the full track), its only possible to export the project out to Maschine desktop software. So, I assume that would include the MIDI in the project file. You can NOT transfer back from Maschine desktop software to iMaschine. Hope this helps!

In this video I was using a software that does work with Android, but afterwards I realised that it was only a free demo that lasted 3 days. Since then I have found a free software called LonelyScreen which works with iOS, but I don't think it works with Android. I expect there will definitely be some free screen Mirroring software for Android that emulates Chrome Cast or something!
