Morgan was in love with the Chuck+Sarah love story.

The way he describes photos is EMOTIONAL
My wife and I were very very disappointed by the finale. We've watched every season - every episode. Character development is key to good scripting and they took 5 years of Chuck/Sarah/marriage development and just discarded it all in one episode. Why anyone thought it was a good idea to just make the entire love story fall apart and a waste of time is beyond me. It's as if at the end of the movie the main character wakes up and "it was all just a dream". They literally converted Sarah's character right back to who she was on S1:E1. No sense to it. I had to repeatedly console my wife to stop crying (unhappily).
well i think its pretty obvious with the final scene that she was starting to fall for chuck again, and the little things returning to her during the episode point to her slowly getting her memories back. also there have been several post show interviews where the writers said they believe she eventually gets her memory back, they just want people to have their own story of what happens after the beach. also if you watch the episode especially the extended version sarah goes from not wanting to hear her story to asking chuck for it and a kiss so she wants to get her old life back. could it have been tied up in a nice bow? yeah but the ending we got is just as well.
No. I'm not. I get enough bad endings from real life. I live in the real world. I watch fictional stories to get away from that.

I get that there are movies/series, where a happy ending wouldn't fit the theme and/or be almost ridiculous, but watching something like "Chuck" (with an overall positive atmosphere), I-WANT-CLOSURE, the trees and the bees :D
It seems that more and more writers and directors are trying to go for an "open" or half-happy ending because it's "artistically valuable", whatever that's supposed to mean ... To me, it sometimes feels like quite a few people just don't like seeing the protagonists (or maybe anyone really) to have a "real" happy ending, because they want everything to be an absurd version of reality, which would explain the whole "Real World's *bullsh*t input*"-plague on TV.
Braden Asper 100% agree with you!!!! I was so disappointed in the series finale! :( They had done SO well all the way up to the last couple of episodes....AND he didn't even need the 'intersect' to diffuse that bomb...btw! Sigh. Wish they would've given season 5 a full season then maybe we would've gotten the fairy tale ending we deserved!
i couldn't agree with you more. if i want to watch reality tv thing, i would just turn on the news. this is the reason i watch movies or tv shows, to escape the harsh cruel world of reality for a moment and be entertained.
Why would they remove this from the episode? Damn!

yup I agree. Also the video montage didn't fail, she doesn't want it to make her soft, she is focused on the mission. Chuck makes her different. this was implied all throughout the show. she could have told him to stop the video sooner. she was feeling
This would be a great scene in the series, i don't understad why they deleted it.
