@@kevincallaghan3212 Personally, I prefer to use descaling liquid - tablets need to be dissolved before they can be used. Here in the UK, most supermarkets sell some sort of descaling liquid. OR, look on your local Amazon or eBay for either liquid or tablets.
Hi, thanks for helping, I decided to turn on this machine after 10 years, then this indicator lit up and I came across this video in the recommendations now I have learned how to use it
Thx to you, I finally figured out where was hidden the ‘yellow’ disk on my decade-old machine. Also, I salute your clear and easy explanation on how to proceed. A++. Thx for that; much, much appreciated. Cheers. VB
Thanks for your great video. I live in a soft water area so tried following all your instructions without using any descaling stuff just plain tap water and it worked a treat. This might help someone else with the same issue. Thanks again for making this.
I could sit and listen to you all day lolz. It reminded me of listening to my grandmother many decades ago. I do have a question. How do you remove the spout❓️ I have the same one. ☮️ from 🇨🇦 my friend
Out of a tone of videos, I and my boyfriend watched… you’re the only one that told use where cleaning tab was after we bought a new one that didn’t work. So, thank you so much!!!!
Hi. I have just watched your video and wondered if you could help me. I have a Tassimo (not sure what type) that I got from my son - no yellow disk so I bought one from eBay that has both bar codes (as in placement for yellow or orange disc). When I close the part with the disc both lights go red and the machine does nothing. Any ideas? Mandy
great video. i got a used machine from a friend and it was missing the disc. i wish i had seen your video before i ordered a replacement disc just to be sure i ordered the right one. good news, i got the correct one. interestingly enough my machine seems to be the same model as yours.
I prefer descaling liquid. The trouble with vinegar based product is it taints the coffee maker and spoils the coffee (in my experience). This is one of the best liquids out there (IMO) and this is a litre bottle: amzn.to/3j3C4e8

Absolute legend, worked a treat.... Took it all apart, gave it a super clean, the amount of crud in it.
Glad it helped 👍

Great to hear! However even soft water contains some minerals, so I'd suggest using a liquid rather than tablets and just using a half dose.
This was such a clear and easy to understand video, thanks for your help👍
Great to hear!
Agree thanks for the tip for the T Disk it was very helful .Thanks for sharing.
So practical and useful...thank you for your nice and comprehensive explanation
Great a clear video of how to clean my particular model!

Open the 'lid' where the pods go and then push the spout upwards from below.
Big help and easy to follow, thanks for making this.
Thanks for the instruction. I learned also I can find the cleaning disc at the back of my machine. I was about buying one on amazon :-)
Glad I could help!
Thank you for the nice easy to follow tutorial. You've earned another sub.
Fabulous instructions Thank you xx
Thank u so much. I got mine without an instruction booklet (2nd hand) so in I had no idea what to do.
Whenever I need to descale mine, I end up watching my own video back to remind me how 😂😂😂

This model seemed to be quite popular. I've seen a few advertised
Great instructions!
Thank you, Kim.
Can you use anything else instead of the descaling tablet.
For eg. adding a bit of distilled white vinegar to the water.

@@AbouttheHouse0 thanks for the link. I'll try that
What it's the next red light (that one with a drop)?
Pleas I steal have problem , with the second red bottom 💔💔
And how to initiate the manual descaling process? I have the red light on and the proper cleaning disk, but the descaling process won’t start 💁♀️
Can I use vinegar instead of those to clean?
Yes you can, but my experience is that vinegar taints the taste of the coffee.
Can you tell me how much Kilrock descaler you used please?
Thank you 😊
Thank you so much! 👍
Cheers pal, wife's happy again.... For now 😆
Great video
Thanks.
Thanks 🙏🤩
Good job:) tnx
Thank you
thank you for your help
Perfekt 👍👍
Thanks Ava
Thanks
I make already so many times descal so many times but red button still there 🥺🥺.what to do
Ive done mine 3 times but the red light os still on
Is still not working....I don't understand why....I have the disc, I press the button 3 sec, 5 sec, 30 sec...still not working...
Today I learned that my Tassimo has a yellow disc hidden in a rear compartment 😂
Thenks
Iam missing the yellow disc😔
What if we don't have descaling medicine
Maybe buy some...
You could use vinegar, but it'll taint your coffee after
👍
Can we just stick the barcode on the reader in case we lost the disk 😂
NO, that would stop it reading coffee pods
I hate this particular model it's so loud. I stopped using mine.
