    Hello my fellow biker friends, we have a nice bike detailing series coming to you over the next few weeks, all the Tools are in the show more of the video description to help you accomplish your perfect bike for 2018.

      Looking forward to it. Biggest issue on my bike is a big rock chip on the nose of my plastic/fiber glass fairing and small chips on the tank sides. The plastic headlights have these deep zigzag scratches. Thought about filling the scratches with superglue or epoxy then buffing, thoughts?

      Q: After a high shine job or metal cleaning (wheels/bumpers) is 303 as effective or create issues? Look like it could be used anywhere including detailed/really cleaned headlights or windhield.
      Good videos.

      @SweetScoots  6 лет назад +2

      Stuart O'Neill use the 303 only on plastic, leather, vinyl, and rubber...use this amzn.to/2MSrpBL for your chrome and or aluminum after you have buffed them to a shine to protect it.

    Great video. As for dirty bikes, well here's my philosophy based on the old saying - If you have time to clean it, you have time to lean it. I average 10-15k miles per year and I honestly don't have time to clean it. LOL

      We say if you love it, taking care of it is essential. But ride on rider :) Thanks for watching and sharing, have a great day. mad Mike Sweet Scoots

    I have to keep polishing the chrome spokes on my wheels, the bike is used and the old owner let them rust. After I clean them again will ceramic coat slow down how quickly they will rust again.

    • @SweetScoots
      @SweetScoots  3 года назад +1

      This goo.gl/Eqjnp3 will not allow your spokes to rust, not just slow it down, but stop it from rusting again. Thank you for watching and asking my friend, sorry for the delay in responding we are finally fully moved to Florida and are back at it :) Have a great day. mad Mike the hammer SPC

    Very nice. Just used the Mothers/Eagle 1 wadding trick on my Goldwing and it worked great. Can't wait for the upcoming videos.

    Not sure what you mean when you state, "...use the Eagle 1 with the Mothers..." (about the 4:17 mark).

    • @SweetScoots
      @SweetScoots  6 лет назад +1

      Howard it is this amzn.to/2sTDlKX used with mothers it works wonders my friend ...ride safe :)

    • @howard6798
      @howard6798 6 лет назад +1

      So do I mix the Mother's and Eagle 1 together (50%) and then scrub the wheel, or use the Eagle 1 at 100%? It appears you did the wheel 3 times--once with Mothers, then Eagle 1, then Mothers again. Did you clean off all the Mother's before applying the Eagle 1 or just go right to it? I guess it is supposed to be obvious, but as you can probably tell I'm a complete NEWB when it comes to this stuff.

    • @SweetScoots
      @SweetScoots  6 лет назад +1

      Howard Wilson the easiest way my friend is to dip the eagle wadding into the mothers and use that wadding to do the rubbing then polish it all off with a clean microfiber :)

      Norman thank you and yes it was neglected and we hope now he will maintain it a bit but I guess sometimes people have more money than energy and just want to pay us to do the dirty work..

      EA Jam thank you for that...but after years and years of this my knees are now like shoe leather and can take a beating...much like the callouses on hands that are always workin....ride safe my friend :)

      Mike,please take heed to EA Jam’s advice.i thought the same thing about my knees.last year I tore a meniscus in my knee.had the repair surgery,went through the physical therapy and It is still weak.i still struggle with inclines and steps.when you have something like that happen in your late 50’s you don’t bounce back from it like when you’re a young man.i have to wear a knee brace at work due to walking on concrete all day everyday.i hate to see you go through this.it’s a little bit of a life changing experience.
