N64 Rumble Pak No Batteries Mod!

Did you know you can easily mod the N64's Rumble Pak to run WITHOUT batteries? It's super easy! All it takes is one bodge wire. In this video, I show you how. I guess you could say it's a Nintendo 64 tutorial with extra rambling.

I remember someone like MadCatz did a battery free N64 rumble pak back in the day, but the actual rumble effect was pretty weak in comparison, like you had wrapped the rumble pak in a jumper or something! :D
But this is a fascinating mod, I'll have to have a stab at it! Is it like those charge through leads for Amazon fire sticks that you use if the TV's USB port doesn't give it enough juice?

Interesting, why wouldn't Nintendo have just done it that way from the start rather than using batteries?

Too many modded rumble paks connected at the same time puts the N64 console at risk (drawing too much I assume?).
