When i was 14 i started working at my local rink in Jersey and I came across tons of sticks. This was when the first one pieces came out so players would snap a blade and throw the whole stick away. I had over 25 synery's with the black wood bauer blade in them! Would go thru a blade a game back then but they were $8! Product tested for CCM for a few years and still have some of those sticks. Now I buy pro stock stuff. Im in Dallas now and they have sales for that stuff, and also sideline swap and pro stock hockey. You can go old school and call AHL teams and shit, ask to buy old product. Used to do that in 2008/9/10. Always ways to get cheap sticks now!

hey Nasher you should do a video where you have to guess the stick just by shooting it, you should completely cover it in tape so you don't know or just blind fold yourself.

You should do a is it trash episode on the stick protected that you put in the bottom of the stick so you can play on the concrete without your blade getting messed up
THE STICK by Bruce Dowbiggin is a good book about hockey sticks and their history. And all true about the wooden sticks and the company glues late 70's/early 80's...I had some blades come out of the shafts as if someone forgot the glue! The 5030-type would explode at times; my last personal SherWood is 722 grams(custom); in 1983 we almost lost the Blues as our hockey team almost went to Saskatoon - the team used to sell the sticks not needed to we Junior players for $8 each!!! Some of the first graphite ever used - SherWood 5073 inlaid with THORNEL GRAPHITE ...that sometimes became unglued also(used Guy LaPointe's SherWood 5073's in 1982). Aluminum was first coming up in early 80's with the blades. I liked sticks - got hit a bunch so I had to score when I got into that other zone of the ice!!
