Revati was a great actor, dancer and feminist in the industry. She is one among very few in Industry who commands respect amongst industry as well as common people with her acting professional skills rather than any other controversial stuff. Now that the Managing Committee of AMMA has stepped down (resigned) the members of the Association, in the process of forming a new committee should make it mandatory to have at least FIVE female members in the committee. Only then many issues affecting female artists can be addressed and the industry can progress cohesively for betterment of Cinema.
She want to be very diplomatic and feels like that whatever happened is happen forget and move on and prevent things like that in future! She didn't condemn those who committed crime against female actresses and their loss and mental torcher. Also she didn't condemn CM Pranaroy Vijayan who was sitting on this Hema report for last 5 yeas without taking any action! She might have also gone through but looks like she doesn't way make it an issue now!

Why everyone silent on the point told in Hema Commettey Report about drug and alcohol use in work place of the film industry?
Should that have priority over the dignity of woman? And the trauma they faced? Yes those has too come out too.. Also the wages issue, not providing bathrooms etc

Reforms and code of conduct is needed in the film industry not only definitely to keep women protected but have a more organised working condition for all from the clapper boy to Directors.the code of conduct must me constructive with regards to writer of the movie finally it's his idea which becomes a story.what I saw was sleeze and scandal attack on opposite sex on the sexual molestation. Problems faced by women are endless. Women have changed in many ways. That's why.
The criminal punishment is nothing and does not bring justice to the victims.
What brings justice is for these sexual predators to pay heavy monetary damages in civil courts to their victims and this will encourage lawyers to get involved and help the victims with filing law suits and getting paid for their work. The victims will also find courage to come forward and identify their aggressors especially if their identities are protected.
