You’re totally outdoorsy gal pal!!! You’ll slowly fall into love more and more with being on the trail. It’s so amazing how our two little feet can take us to places that seem to only exist in dreams.
It was so refreshing to hear you talk about being an outdoorsy person being someone who enjoys the outdoors. I have always been someone who heals and feels alive outside in nature. I’ve struggle with mental illness therefore my weight and strength constantly fluctuates. As someone that can only do moderate 5 mile hikes this speech was appreciated 🤍
I can relate whole-heartedly to the hiking alone mentality! It feels intimidating at times and I also find that when I'm hiking or just being active alone, it helps me navigate and gage my time and what I can handle at a better pace for me
i just moved from Montana to Maine and it's so wild to have recently discovered your channel! also east coast born and out west is truly something special 💖
thank you for talking about climbing being on your fear list.. I went with a group of nomads and ended up having a panic attack even from the ground and my "friend" made me feel like there was something wrong with me for not wanting to climb :( (also hey Allana im Alauna lol)
Totally agree about the intimidation factor in the outdoor community. I used to climb like crazy but only did it for fun and all of the people I kept running into took it so serious ahah. I see testing your body and whatnot, but definitely ran into the toxic masculinity part of it and totally left the space a couple years ago. But its all about what you like. I do it from time to time, but MUCH prefer to hike. I only do a few big backpacking trips a year and I just love that the most.
Almost cried at the end of this one! Emily.. you are so strong. You are a radiant soul full of love and light and courage and I’m so proud of you! Every chapter I’ve witnessed of you has been beautiful. I feel so connected to you in your most recent videos. I wish you luck on this upcoming journey, we’re all here for you!🤍🤍🤍thanks for another amazing video, you’re the only creator I really watch, so I get excited when I see a new video posted😂✨🤍
I was dying at your comments about the sun hoodies 😂 I own one but man is it hard to put that thing on I’d rather slay a cute bra and shorts 😭 someone needs to design some reaaaaaaally cool ones
if your looking for some non intimidating, beginners outdoor bouldering or climbing there are some basalt columns in WA that are really cool and relatively easy.
You actually don’t have to pay for AllTrails in order to download maps! Love this journey for you friend 💜 Washington is my next destination for travel 😍 Keep glowing and growing sis 🌈 ✨
You should soooo look into astro-cartography if you know your Zodiac info!! I would be willing to bet you have lines going through the Pacific Northwest. My biggest joy and transformation lines go through it and it's the only place I've ever felt like I actually belonged despite being born in the South. I've never felt more joy than Oregon and Washington State.
Hey long time follower, going to rant for a sec bc relate I am a person w multiple disabilities including chronic pain and kyphosis. I have an able bodied cousin lets call him Sal. Sal and I used to be close. we would travel. well he didnt listen to me when id assert something. I truly wasn't allowed to say no. Only once in 3 hiking trips together (so probs... 40 hikes) did i ever say no and stuck with it bc he wanted to do a 22mile along the kauai coast where you're straddling the side of a cliff...mind you, we were all newbies. Him and his partner were from florida and Im in new hampshire. We went to glacier, yellow stone, remote parts of the desert and northern cali.. its hard because some of my favorite scenes i've ever seen were on those trips. but also my body endured a lot. hearing you say a 9 mile is hard is so validating to the part of me that was abused to believe a 14 mile was easy peasy lemon squeezy (14 mile in new mexico is my record! 17 river crossings 😢) anyways ty for validating that part of me
i just had the gnarliest day at work a and played the video as background noise as I angrily drove home. Once the video ended and the little music came on, I felt the weight off my shoulders and actually found some peace. What was that? What do you call that music?
washington gives everyone seasonal depression and the people are not nice here and the drug problem is so bad but your energy would probably fit here lol
