This is by far the best rendition of this song. I guess it makes it more special that it was only performed here. I’d love to hear an acoustic album with her band/writers for her story songs! It tells the story better
I think Hillary Lindsey wants to stay in the background as much as possible. But the problem is, every time, Carrie grabs one of her songs and released it. It goes to no. 1 on the charts and Carrie likes to give credit where credit is due. Thus Hillary gets to be in the spotlight.
