Same thing with my local junkyard, the prices are CRAZY now, I went for a part the other day and expected around $20-$30 for the part and it was $65. I got it new for less than that 😅

I remember many years ago i found my votex kit for my old mk5 jetta in the yard in okay condition, only paid like 50 bucks for all 4 pieces. Sad you couldnt get nothing besides the spoiler

Greetings from the uk Christian, that silver volvo is very strange. Your right its a uk plate. It would of had a yelow plate at the back. Whats weirder is that that number relates to vauxhall astra (you would know them as saturn astra) not a volvo and from what i can dig up that volvo would of never had that number designated to it? How in gods name it ended on a usdm volvo c30 in a US junkyard is baffling to me. Keep up the great work bud i currently catching up on your back catalogue of videos as i got behind them.

The taillights were dope but all the lenses but one were pulled off for some reason. And dang yeah always gotta try and snag your parts off if you have the chance

That plate on the Volvo is from the UK and was originally on a Vauxhall Astra

Those rear taillights were worth $200 on the mk5, also that wing you grabbed is stock and not worth anything, not a voted wing
What about those tail lights they go hard on a white / grey jetta and if i donr mistake those are also a votex thing
Taillights were dope but all but one were missing the plastic lenses and the insides were getting trashed sadly

You ain’t lying bout junkyard prices. I went to the junkyard yesterday and a guy in front of me needed one piston and rod and they was charging $430 like for that price I could get a new set. These prices when I go for shit makes me wanna be shit brand new.
They’re charging for the entire engine, genius.. Remove any of the internals, and the engine is worthless for resale
