I once owned a Lag Tramontane, a T66DCE. It was a nice inexpensive guitar. I'm sure the owner of this guitar will be delighted with your craftsmanship. I enjoy watching you "heal" broken instruments!
Love the way you're not afraid to take an unconventional ( and scarey! ) approach to the repair. And if any guitar or bass player reading this hasn't got a neckrest, support Tanya by purchasing one of hers. They are beautifully made and a great aid for the simplest jobs such as a string change & guitar cleaning, or major work like we see in her videos. And great value too given the quality.
This was two videos in one... we got to see the truss rod replacement which, by itself, is amazing and then the bonus of the refret... I could watch your refretting technique for hours... you are so much more advanced in your craft than most I've seen...
her work is reassuring because I’m self taught by reading lots of books on repair. Going on 5 years and have made tons mistakes that I was able to dig myself out of. This is awesome to see methods I figured out on my own and being practiced by another repair person
I saw you glue fret-board dust. My Gibson is 1964 and this is done to hide bacteria erosion on fret jobs. My frets are epoxied into place and shimmed to position to preserve the original intonation. Michelle has repaired all my instruments for several years and is recommended by each manufacturer as 5 star expertise. So you see... your "simple" job is humor... right? Thanks for the excellent video!

As always, an awesome repair job. I almost had a heart attack when you sawed and pried a portion of the fretboard off!!! LOL Again, I learn something every time I tune in. Thank you very much for your videos. Cheers from Canada!
I have one. Non electric. Love it. Smooth rounded top, makes it comfortable to rest arm on. Set up right makes it one of my favorites. Great info if I ever have a neck reset. Thanks !!
This is awesome. You're a true master at this. I learn so much from you!! Dividing a fretboard at the neck joint and after replacing the trussrod glue it back and make it invisible with sawdust and superglue....Insane that good! Be proud of yourself!
Greetings from the USA Tanya, I hope you are all staying safe. Thank you for uploading your work, I am trying my hand at luthier/repair/building guitars. I enjoy it so much, and it is so calming for me.... Edit: Thank you for not having "booger" nails this time!
This was neck surgery that maximized the truss rod replacement in a lot shorter time. My method is much more old school. I am impressed by the entire process. I hope more episodes will be coming soon. I also have a magic cube that I use to tighten the tuner bushings. Well done! Glory to Ukraine!
I love your simple approach to guitar repairs. Your channel content is very interesting. Thanks for posting these videos! Watching from Nova Scotia, Canada.
Appreciated the unique way to tackle this and sharing the struggle of having to go the extra mile to get things right. Would love to see lists of the products you use for each step for each of the projects with links to support your work. Cheers

I feel her frustration when she does the fiddly stuff like use the Allen key inside the sound hole. But she could work on my basses and set them up any time ….She’s thorough and never shortcuts jobs 😁👍
This is an excellent video! I do repairs for a music store that carries the Lag brand. They're nice looking instruments, but they have their issues. I do in store Lag repairs monthly. I haven't had a truss rod failure but I'm sure there's one on the way. Thank you for sharing this video.
Great work, very professional. Thank you so much for sharing with us. I will like a list of the tools needed and where can I get them. Thank you again. ❤️

Nice job girl! I always enjoy watching you work. You make it look easy. It's not. Shame you're so far away I could keep you busy with my collection. They always need something. Keep up the great work and vids, and thank you!
This was amazing to see. Thank you for sharing this technique. I have a few questions: 1. With a bolt on neck , why glue the neck back on then tighten. 2 I had heard it is easier to refret with the neck off. Is this not true or just doesn't work with the extension not connected too?
Thanks Tanya. your stuff is always great, but this was specially useful as I'm expecting to have to do the same job soon. Now I see how to do it. Also, I saw you glued the cheeks of the joint when you put it back together, which interested me since that seemed to be what was done originally and made it hard to get the neck off?
