It was the responsibility of the trans-man to inform the staff that She could be pregnant. She was still having sex as a woman so should have known it was possible.
Absolutely. Anyone who transitions must spend a fair amount of time with Doctors discussing all the possibilities. Even if they forgot what the Doctor told them, why wasn't this information in their medical records?
Sounds like they wanted the drama instead as they think that will advanance trans rights by making it public and shaming us all into playing along with their delusions

I am a UK radiographer and at my hospital we do not ask male patients if they could be pregnant. We ask ‘what sex were you registered at birth’. If they say male, we don’t do anything else.
As a citizen of Canadistan, I can honestly say that the UK is the only country in the world I can point at and say "thank god at least I dont live there."
You would not want to be that doctor if you asked me that! I would feel very unsafe! Like how incompetent is this critter to ask me, an obvious woman such a question.
This is ridiculous. Whenever I go to the dentist/doctor there are forms to fill out. They ask a million questions and the form is NOT geared towards one gender or the other. Just make one form fir everyone, make patients sign that they've read it and Bob's your uncle and Fanny's your aunt.

I guess by not pandering to the Narrative I will have 'Far Right' stamped all over my notes.
lol just ask what their sex is, and clarify you’re asking sex and not gender. We really just need to go back to biology where biology is literally the dividing factor.
In the 90s the term was trans sexual it's only recently it's been called trans gender. From my perspective it just seems to be a way to corrupt the language and claim gender means something it doesn't.
This was all pointed out as an unnecessary risk when the topic of misgendering was first brought up. That medical personal needs to know a person’s actual sex to properly treat them. And, why should thousands of people be asked an unnecessary question because of the very rare trans man (who knows they are biologically a female and can get pregnant) who might fail to mention they might be pregnant when they get an x-ray. This person wants it both ways, and then wants additional unnecessary questions imposed on other people.
These things are happening in hospitals all over the western world. It comes from well above the staff. Above CEO’s too. Some HR departments love it and push it strongly. Trans people having IVF is the most confusing.

Yes but that is so extremely rare that it doesn’t make sense asking all of them whether they’re pregnant. The same way that it’s ridiculous to ask every man the same question.
This is just to appease a tiny minority of people who, want us to play along with their delusions. When I went for my covid jab the nurse asked me if I could possibly be pregnant. I’m a 52 year old Male with a beard
well there are certain downsides to mispresent your gender, it is all on the few persons this is about. Do not drag everybody else into this by this idiocy.
Yes but that’s extremely, extremely rare. Exceptions don’t change the rule, the same way that it’s ridiculous to ask all men whether they’re pregnant just because there’s a tiny number of ’trans men’ who are pregnant it’s also unnecessary to ask all 11 year old girls whether they’re pregnant.
The responsibility should have fallen on the trans-man who hadn’t had a hysterectomy. As long as he was having sec with a biological male, then there’s always a possibility of pregnancy. Plus, the little amount of possible radiation exposure to the fetus is so small that it’s highly unlikely to have done any damage. The rules to ask everyone is ridiculous. Most medical charts nowadays have sex assigned and sex identification listed.
The responsibility is on the patient to disclose any medical information or procedure they had had to the medical professionals. And the includes that they were once a woman but transitioned to a man.
