BULL SHIT! They’re extremely quiet dude! And the B2 you saw was probably on its way to a Pasadena on New Year’s Day which it’s used to fly down the parade route every New Year to kick off the Rose Parade!
@@waynefletcher9884 - I didn't explain that well. I didn't hear so much as feel it, I don't know how to describe the experience. The air trembled, that's the only way I know to describe it. Thanks for the data, it could have very well been New Year's Day.

The shape is a little different than the B-2, not much It's control surfaces are more stealthy. One of the biggest differences is the stealth material which has been a drawback to these planes because every time you use them in any serious way they have to be recoated and it's an expensive and time consuming process. The stealth material will be permanent. So, more costly in the construction but much better for maintenance cost along with availability of the aircraft and they can fly faster. I'm sure the range will be better but I also believe they can deal with a more varied payload and carry more missiles and bombs. Of course it also starts out with more advanced electronic systems, and I'm sure the communication systems that allow it to control a fleet of drones which is part of the U.S. NGAD program.
It's had to believe the B2 - which have been rarely used - is obsolete at $1B a copy. The end of manned military aircraft is near...we should be going to autonomous versions.
Wrong, Northrop Grumman followed a completely different trajectory to stealth vs. Lockheed Martin. Tacit Blue was Northrops path to Stealth, F117 was Lockheed. Even today these are two distinct types of stealth technologies, YF 23 Vs. YF 22 for example
I know the b 21 should take over the b2 but we should keep the b.1b not only do we need stealth but we need something fast too find a b-1b needs to be upgraded and made more of we shouldn't just depend on stealth we need speed and power too!!

We got to get Cracking & build some of these ( or finish the ones they already started building )❗️😏
A question for the engineers & those in chat that have actual expirience with stealth; Recent, in depth articles have discussed China's "ability" to be able to possibly detect the B-21 & other "stealth" aircraft. I'm aware the B-21 took its first, well documented flight. I'm also aware just how closely guarded all specifics have been guarded. (Unlike previous stealth reveals) The U.S. is quite aware of China's past "theft" of multiple technologies & reverse engineering. Personally, I feel it's simple propaganda but computers simulations & tech have come a long way. So my question; Do any with expirience feel that China may have a fairly decent probability of being able to aquire B-21 on their radars???
Such an awesome bird. I'm proud to be a part of the engineering community on this wing.

I really like the Stingray drone; an autonomous refueling aircraft that can use aircraft carriers is very clever in my opinion.
Fun fact the B2 has the same wing span to the inch of the flying wing. Crazy how on point Northrup was.
Crazy how something so beautiful was designed and built to hopefully never be used.
