That was awesome, Brandon. Thank you very much. I bought everything at the same time only to find out there are no good directions that comes with either the machine nor the blade to put this on. They leave you guessing as to which way the blade goes. You made it all very easy. Again, thank you very much.
Just bought one of these blades. The guy in the shop showed me how to remove the string device and install this attachment but after a few days, I forgot details. Should have done it right away. I'm very grateful for your excellent, straightforward tutorial. Thank you from Canada!
Exactly what I needed to see. Dad left me with a few stihl and echo trimmers and I have a box of mixed parts I’m trying to make sense of before I end up going out and buying more stuff.
great video. thank you for taking the time to make it. amazing to me stihl doesn’t indicate which direction to mount the blade in either better blade marking or pkg direction. your video was direct to the point and clearly illustrated. great job!!
Just bought a old stihl fs61R at a garage sale for 20 bucks, wasnt running, has been sitting for 10 years, threw some gas in it fired first pull and fired up the 2nd. Just bought a brush blade for it, very good instructional video since I didnt know what the hell I was doing.
Thank you for your awesome help! It’s funny… you said to turn clockwise and you’re right, it is clockwise, but it looked counterclockwise in the video. Anyway, thanks. Big help!
Thank you! I've been trying to figure out how to do this by reading the instruction book. THERE'S an hour of my life I'll never get back! Total gibberish. I wish I'd searched for this video a lot sooner!
You and me both. The ‘manual’ from Stihl with the blade I purchased has 29 languages in it telling the user not to put there finger in a moving object.... nothing about installation.
I want you to know i revisit this video a couple times a year because i can never remember how this goes. My brain locks up and i pull up this video to get a quick refresher. Everytime
easier to turn it over - only need to hold the lock device in the hole, but the blade is easily centered - the other parts hold in place while you tighten the nut. less fighting = easier installation.
Maybe because of the video, but what you're saying is clockwise to tighten appears to be turning counter-clockwise. Not a problem, just an observation. Also, I found your helpful instructional video searching on the Stihl FS 45 trimmer. Is this that, or, will the attachment fit on any Stihl trimmer?
The big silver looking cup on the bottom of the blade prevents you from cutting brush close to the ground and will hang you up. Very frustrating!! Echo brand is a lot better for cutting brush close to the ground...Your better off using the Stihl as a weed eater and Echo for saw blades if you need to use saw blades
I locked mine. The nut just spins its not coming off. The bolt is staying still, the nut just turns its not coming off. What did I strip it? Maybe it already was? What do I do?

Thank you for the refresher. It’s been so long since I put the brush blade on that I didn’t even know where to start. You are a lifesaver
Holy cow! that’s how you properly explain things,Bravo sir 👏👊
Great video! Short and to-the-point. This was my first time installing a brush blade and with your video, it couldn't have been easier. Thank you sir.
Thanks. The stihl instructions were basically garbage. Didnt even know the reverse threads. Saved me a lot of frustration. Much appreciated!
Thank you, your instructions were spot on. Got some brush clearing started today. Thanks for pointing out to make sure the blade is centered.

Thanks Brandon… between the manual and the dealer… your video was WAY MORE HELP!!!!
Thank you very much for this video. Straight to the point without dragging the video out. This helped me alot. Cheers from Australia

Thank you so much Brandy. You made this so clear and helped us out a lot

Of course it wasn't running. It didn't have any gas in it.
You just save my project. I’m using a STIHL FSKM trimmer you help me figure out how to get all the fittings back in the right spot. Thank you.
Thank you very much! Straight and to the point. Super!

Had it not been for this video I would have missed the store closing today and just been co fused as to why they sold me a defective blade. Thank you
Thank you so much. It worked. I was turning the washer wrong the whole time
Thanks Brandon!! Your video was super helpful 👏

Thank you sooooo much!!! Awesome instructions better than the manual
Thank you for your clear instrunctions!
Great Video Presentation!! I think I have got it now.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH 🤠 You're smarter than my local dealer
Thanks my man! Great video!
Thank you so much!!! That's exactly what I needed to know. 🙂

Thank you ! Very useful and it’s done 💪
Thanks mate , from Australia.
excellent, was able to work on with the advise given and swap blades ...cheers
How did people who didn't grow up with this stuff get anything done before these videos? Thanks the help!!
by reading the supplied manuals

Great Presentation. Very easy to see and follow.
Great tutorial!💯👏🏻
Thank you, Brandon. That was a huge help. I had it all bass-ackwards.
Showed everything, good video. Cheers!
Response166 thank you very much
Just simple common sense instructions. That really helped me out.
Yep been a while since I used the brush blade. Needed a refresher so I do it right the first time.
Thanks for the clear explanation and demonstration. How about something on the best way to file the chisel tooth blades? Stihl hasn't been much help.
Very good and thorough directions thankyou
Thank you , very helpful 😊
Thanks so much for the video!
Turn the machine upside down makes it a lot easier as it stays put
gravity.. so useful sometimes ;9)
Sounds like Peyton Manning.

Everytime
Thanks. I’ve only done this about 10 times the past 10 years and forget everytime.
Thanks for making the video!
OMG I so love you! Like omg my weed eater is awesome now. Thx!!!
Excellent👍🏻
Good instructions, thx!
Thanks, method still works for stihl fs-km brush/line cutter
Thank, a great explanation!
Great video
Big Help, thank you.
Thank you very much!
Very helpful
Where did you buy the blade and kit at ?
Thanks boss man. cpuldnt get my blade off!
Good video
Thank you! I was wondering how a heck you get the head off, since it's just spins
What stihl model is it?
I have a Craftsman weed Wacker, what adapter kit should I use?
Thanks borther
just found a kick to curb stihl weeder...have the blade ..need adapter to put it on
If I am correct it saying u can put these on a stihl fs 2 40 c Strimmer?
Will this blade work on my FS 70 CE?
Excellent, straight shootin' video on exactly what you need to get this done. Explained in a way that even a monkey could do it.
thanks!!
Does it work for any model???
legend, thanks fella
Thx 4 the tip
Thank you man
Thank you.
Excellent
If you turn the head upside down you can center and tighten the pieces much easier. Gravity is your friend.
Thank you!
Great video! I think that’s an Allen key rather than a torque wrench. Thanks 🙏
Torx...not an allen wrench bud
Thank you 🇳🇴😄
Great video.. not too fast, not to drug out
easier to turn it over - only need to hold the lock device in the hole, but the blade is easily centered - the other parts hold in place while you tighten the nut.

Thank you
can't beat string with bump feed . but thanks for video
Thanks😊

And the rotation of the blade looks wrong , mine spins the other way
It will not work on an FS 45 or 46. Has to be a straight shaft. I found out the hard way.
He said counter clockwise to tighten and is turning it counterclockwise.
Can you do this with any FS model of STIHL?
Works on my STIHL FS 56 RC
Thanks man
What trimmer did you use this on?
0.07 ruclips.net/video/jpKJ-eeLGu0/видео.html all stihl have similar heads
In the past what I have found helpful if you tip the brush cutter upside down
Has anyone had a problem with taking the nut off? I cant get mine to loosen.
Nuthin' to it!!
When I try to tighten it just spins
Why doens't Stihl tell you how to do this on the package???
I have blade but pls tell me Where I bought that small tool
for me - it came with the unit. He calls it a saw tool because it also comes with their chain saws.
Thank you a billion 😂😅
My blade has no holes to insert the locking rod.
The blade just turns when tightening the spindle nut. Yes, it’s a Stihl blade
Is that your real voice or are you doing a cartoon character?
I locked mine. The nut just spins its not coming off. The bolt is staying still, the nut just turns its not coming off. What did I strip it? Maybe it already was? What do I do?
Solution - buy secondary Stihl trimmer.
I'm experiencing same help
Turn the strimmer upside down so gravity is working for you😂😂
💪👍👌
Get a Cane Slayer Brush Cutter, you’ll have more time to Drink Beer🍻
