Came searching for the song "My love by my side" after hearing BTS' Suga sing this song in several RUN BTS episode. This song started to grow on me and watching this performance made me appreciate this song more. Found myself crying at the end of the video. Amazing how BTS made me appreciate different genre of music. Not a Korean but they made me appreciate Korean songs.
I think this is my very favorite cover by HCY. If you know Kim Hyuk Sik’s story this is almost unbearably sad, but honors his legacy to today’s music. HCY seems to be channeling his spirit and gives his delivery an extra rawness that Hyun Sik always had.
The stage presentation was just perfect, from the center stage empty mike to the duet with Kim Hyun Sik. No wonder when it ended, not a dry eyes in the house.
I likes K-Pop from 2009 but only found out about Hwang Chi Yeul since january 2020 and fell in love with his voice..so cool so deeply and so manly❤️❤️❤️
