    I make off-color diamonds all the time, and in some cases, I can swap every tile on the board two or three times, and still not get the element I need. I think board luck is proportional to the amount of money you spend on the game. I would love to see a video like this on someone's ftp account. I have no doubt the board luck would be quite unfavorable to those who don't spend money on the game.

      Yes, there is actually a menu for use to purchase board luck. The really luck boards are quite expensive, but well worth the payments. I typically get the top tier package that includes at least 8 of your starting color, three guaranteed monthly 5* summons, and they even come to the house and wash my cars twice per month. It is quite the deal!

    Awesome video. I find myself looking at boards differently now. Trying to find a good board when getting a bad starting board.

    • @EmpiresandPuzzlesBooks
      @EmpiresandPuzzlesBooks  3 года назад +1

      They are not always there, but they can be found more often than many players think. 3/2, 4/1, and mono should not be relying solely on luck. There is much more to it than that.

    E&P book is the type of person to get a board with literally no tiles and still win

    • @EmpiresandPuzzlesBooks
      @EmpiresandPuzzlesBooks  3 года назад +2

      Any player can do what I do. It is just a matter of considering the boards differently. I find that some players, when they don't find their color, make very conservative move , when big, dynamic moves are needed to change the board.

      @@EmpiresandPuzzlesBooks I disagree on this one, you need to have heroes tough enough to survive the initial bad board.You might charge some of opposition heroes and it depends a lot how will your heroes rect to their specials.

      @@EmpiresandPuzzlesBooks Not true, Not true in the slightest, I've watched your videos about these things, and started to follow your ideas. Boards can just be bad, they just can. I can do everything as neatly and precisely as you. Yes, I can turn a BAD STARTING BOARD into a good board, and with even mid-level strength 5* I can survive and win, but boards aren't just bad starting boards. I notice you went back and forth between saying 'bad boards' and 'bad starting boards' - for every 'bad starting board' that you show there's a bad board where your color just doesn't come back. I've seen boards with 2 tiles of my color, have huge combinations and combos only to end up with 2 or 3 tiles of my color. The odds of the game are just that way sometimes. So, If what you mean is a 'bad starting board' can be survived or turned to your advantage, sure I'll go along with that, but bad boards do exist. They especially exist for players without fully maxed mana troops turning all their heroes into fast/veryfast. So I'd challenge you to run with a single Mana troop at 11, other mana troops at 5 or 6 and critical troops, I'll even give you 5 4* troops, which is often just not the case for so many players. Again, I love your stuff, I really do, I've benefited from a great deal of your output, and reaped benefits, but I think in fairness, this one isn't really balanced for all players and a little more grace for everyone would be great. The concept is correct, make the kinds of moves that can get you a better board - hope you have the right combination of heroes to survive until it's a good board, but it's not going to always be the case.

      @@zionssuburb Hi John, not sure if you meant this as hostile as it sounds, but I feel that my words are very misconstrued here. Obviously there are truly bad boards that can't be flipped to our advantage. If that was not the case, I would have a 100% win rate instead of an 80-85% win rate. Not only did I mention "starting boards" multiple times, I also said many times that we have 3 to 5 moves to flip the board. If we can't flip to our advantage, then it is a truly bad board/game. If you look at my last comment here, that you just replied to, that is precisely what I said again. All of the heroes and troops in the world can't save a truly bad bad ... some boards are just lost.
      The premise here is that there are no bad starting boards. As I said, over and over in the video, I give it a few moves to decide if it is bad.

    I’m stuck on province 7 stage 5 because it’s giving me nothing but matches of 3 and no reds. It’s an all green monster battle. No matter how many combinations I get, they always stack up enough mana to two shot my characters. Even if I hit them with a matching 5 red, it means nothing. Even the special abilities only drain 1/4 of their health. I’ve attempted this map at least 25 times already, I’ve gone back and leveled up the team by 200 power. It still means nothing.

    • @EmpiresandPuzzlesBooks
      @EmpiresandPuzzlesBooks  3 года назад +2

      Which Season is this happening? Are you able to upload a video of one of these battles? I would happily offer some advice.
      For map quests, I rarely take a mono team. A few suggestions:
      1. Do not go to the boss level until all heroes are at full mana.
      2. Do not go to the boss level until there are a couple of dragon shields or diamonds on the board.
      3. When the boos level starts, unleash all specials (hopefully defense down and elemental defense down are part of those specials)
      4. Once the specials are exhausted, fire 5X arrows, 5X axes, 5X bombs (or dragon attacks).
      5. Set off diamonds/dragons and use mana for second set of specials.
      That is typically enough to destroy any boss level.

    E&P is very good at boards I might say. But I know the game is somewhat rigged. They will give you very bad boards deliberately. Just for example the ninja stages. If you use your 5 star heroes there the boards goes from awful to very awful. I had one time on a single stage I got 4/5 of my 5 star heroes poisoned and that is not coincidence. When using 3 star heroes there is I easily breeze the stages without getting poisoned.

    • @EmpiresandPuzzlesBooks
      @EmpiresandPuzzlesBooks  3 года назад

      The boards are not rigged. One sample is not a data set. There has been evidence of rigged boards.

    While I will agree that the number of tiles allocated at the beginning of any match are random. I cannot agree that the positioning of the said tiles is random.
    I say this because I have almost 10,000 raid victories and 1000 Titan defeats, and who knows how many farming missions. And have never seen a match at the onset of Any Given tile drop in. This cannot be random

    great advice.but do you ever get the fights when you go mono or 4/1 and your tiles just dont show up?I get this on a regular-I even make 2-3 diamonds of opposite color, and even if my team doesnt need to be full 5 heroes to win I still dont get the needed tiles, fliping the entire board twice.Offcorse its not the case in majority of my fights but mostly on pvp and titans.

    • @EmpiresandPuzzlesBooks
      @EmpiresandPuzzlesBooks  3 года назад +1

      Yes, of course. The boards are random so we are going to, from time to time, get completely unplayable boards. If I didn't, I would every game and that certainly doesn't happen. I win 80-85% of my raids and wars.
