Trekking from #Jahazbanda to #Katoralake takes 4 hrs and its a tough trek due to steep hiking during last one hr. Best months to trek to katora lake is July and August when glaciers would have melted.
Katora lake is the largest lake of #Kumrat valley. We could make it up to Jahaz Banda lake which can also be named as lower katora. snow glaciers were the biggest hurdle during the month of June and it was 13th June when we trekked to the lake.
Without hiking stick, Trekking is almost impossible. Sticks can be purchased online or you cab DIY in the forest of Jahaz banda.
