@@rafaelrobin5155 his virtuosity on the piano is way better than Fonzi, he can add complex arpeggios at appropriate places and doesn't affect the emotions of the piece. Fonzi isn't bad but I think most of his covers are not complex enough
I just finished Mugen Train 10 minutes ago. I didn't cry at the end. But my heart was aching. It was as painful as crying. And listening to this reminded me of Rengoku's last smile. His injured stomach, his blinded left eye and bleeding head. A pathetic, a painful sight. Yet he managed to smile, before blowing his last breath. I'll always remember you, Rengoku. This is probably my favorite cover of Homura!! Great job, I love how it doesn't feel insanely fast but rather a little slow-paced because it focuses on how emotional the song is (especially towards the climax at the end!)
When I read the manga about 2-3 months ago, the arc actually made me sad. The choice of song they used really puts emotion into it. I can’t wait for the rest of the manga to get animated.
I have been listening to this on loop and it still hits as good as the first every single time! The moment I first heard the song I instantly went to look for the score and I cannot count the amount of times I've been looking back and forth between the score and the song... I adore every thing about this arrangement! It sticks to the original yet has its' own style and flavour at the same time. All the harmonies and running notes all sound so bright and clear to me. I especially love the accompaniment for the second verse as well as the pre-chorus that was carried by the left hand after that... Honestly one of the best covers I've ever heard. Thanks, there are quite a few sub-melodies in this arrangement(1:03 and 2:32). It's probably one of my personal favourite arrangement, I tried to utilize as much arranging knowledge as I can and spent a chunk of time into polishing them so that it is playable.
