- Hey everyone:
This is definitely coming out pretty soon after my last huge project, but I actually have an explanation for this. I wanted to start a new trend on my channel called, as the title may suggest, "Bite-Sized Brawls". These would be a bunch of short and sweet animations that I create on the side while I am beginning to plan a new project. I hope you guys can get down with this!

this video is so accurate. It shows how Sonic would fight Knuckles and overpower him with his speed when Knuckles is open

Not only are his animations good, but his power scaling was good, we all know Sonic can beat Knuckles easily, but it showed how kind and playful Sonic is, while knuckles was actually trying to hurt him bad. Sonic is just like Goku its amazing.
You're right and Knuckles reminds me of Piccolo.
true Sonic knows how to own Knuckles in a fight, just avoid his attacks and release an onslaught of combos when he's open

@@bluewulv Yeah, Sonic has way more control in this fight over Knuckles because Sonic doesn't lose his temper like Knuckles does as demonstrated in this fight. There's that and also Sonic's Speed has an edge over Knuckles' Power in the Canon.

You know, the way you make Sonic fight is how I think he SHOULD be fighting, especially in these sprite battles. Constantly abusing his speed in every single attack possible and speed-chaining combo's. He'd actually be MASSIVELY scary to fight when you watch him this way.

How'd you like about Super/Hyper Sonic one-shotting Knuckles just by standing on him against the end of the screen?

Excellent fight animation! Though my only gripe with it is I hoped the two would be a bit more evenly matched, since this is the first time they fought each other.
All in all, great sprite work and animation, and I hope to see more!
i personally think knuckles would be able to destroy sonic in any fight other than a race, despite being strong as sonic is fast. knuckles has the ability to lift and break 220,000 pounds, so sonic would literally explode or simply shatter if trying to block knuckles attacks. the only way sonic would logically win is to not take any hits, and to spin-dash knuckles repeatedly until he passed.
EXACTLY, also notice how in this video his punches do nothing and sonic just blocks them without anything happening? Pretty unrealistic

Well its not about what you think. Its about whats canon and sonic canonically beats knuckles in sonic 3.
You forget to factor in that Sonic can just... tank 220,000 pounds, same guy who brushed off all time and space being erased.

It was well animated but you just made Sonic stomp Knuckles, it definitely didn't feel like a competition. More could have been done to show off Knux’s abilities and superior hand-to-hand combat skills.
True, but this was intended to be similar to the actual boss fight, in which Knuckles basically gets curb stomped by Sonic.
MunkyBoi SSB depends on how good of a player you are, and the ai is kinda lacking. I think the controllable Knuckles could curb stomp Sonic just as easily.
@@speedguy8637 yeah you have a point. The way I see it, Knuckles' power is no match for Sonic's speed.
MunkyBoi SSB Well in the classical sense, they’re all supersonic speed in base. I too think Sonic could pull the win but he shouldn’t be winning the close quarters moments. Just saying it would be more of a fight with both showing off their respective traits and powers.

This is cool and the coreography is nice, but Knuckles punches going through Sonic's guard would have been much more in character and actually force Sonic to respect Knuckles "Strengths" (Get it?). That would have been the level of polish needed to really stand out further (Or at least hide the Sonic bias)
eh true Knuckles hits hard so if Sonic was going to rely on defense Sonic shoulda pulled out the insta shield, it woulda made more sense. Regardless Sonic tops over Knuckles, Shadow, Silver and many others

If Sonic gets shot and the bullet bounces off of him... well, yeah... he is too fast to lose to a guy with a gun but that's now how he would win that fight....

@@Athorment I'm pretty sure Sonic and other can survive some puny bullets if Sonic can survive atmospheric entry multiple times. Shadow in his intro got shot up and all the bullets bounced straight off of him

Sorry but there is no way sonic is blocking knuckles' punches let alone over power him with his own.
Sonic 3 and Knuckles? Sonic beat Knuckles in that game and overpowered him. My guess is Sonic constantly goaded Knuckles into attacking him which left him open
Nah, he blocked Zavok's fist, which had the power to knock off meter thick alloys and rivaled the size of Sonic's own body.

Great animation. I like how you portrayed Sonic and Knuckles' strengths. Sonic uses his speed to dodge and weave and attack when there's and opening. Knuckles uses his strength to overpower Sonic's attacks. You can sense the strength within each of Knuckles' attacks. My only gripe is Sonic blocking Knuckles' punch. He should be dead. 💀⚰️ Besides that this was cool to watch.

In a fight Sonic would have a slight advantage over Knuckles with his speed and would probably have to resort to hit and run attacks because one direct hit from Knuckles would probably be a knockout. Knuckles is more heavily built so he would be more durable to taking hits but the downside of being stronger is he’s more heavier than Sonic so his attacks would be slower. Sonic would have to wear Knuckles out before being able to beat him. Sonic would also have to keep an eye on the ground just in case Knuckles digs underground. So with all that it would be quite hard to say who would win.
So your just gonna ignore how they heavily nerfed knuckles punches though? Realistically sonic would not be able to just block them without his arms being HUGELY injured.

It’s a shame they nerfed him and made him stupid, he was a great character that had so much going on behind the scenes. Yeah I know what you mean if they hadn’t of nerfed him Sonic wouldn’t stand much of a chance, but on the other hand Sonic can wind up an enemy and everyone knows how short Knuckle’s temper is so if Sonic made him mad enough to stop thinking and start swinging he could exhaust Knuckles that way.

@@yozy-. You guys are taking this way too seriously. It's just a fictional fight made up by a fan. You could create your own comic where Knuckles wins and it just have just as much merit. Realistically, it's hard to balance a Knuckles and Sonic fight without Knuckles dominating too easily when it's hits connect or Sonic being too fast for Knuckles to catch him. The movie ran into the same problem where Knuckles strength was starting to cause problems for a more fairer matchup. So to make the second fight longer they had to downplay his reaction speed (not just punch Sonic away in the arm clash) or have him move his attention to the Master emerald and not follow up with his first punch so Sonic could do his spindash move. Think about it, if Knuckles kept hitting Sonic and if he kept getting up then I'll downplay the power of his punches. Knuckles suffers from the classic powertype trope which unfortunately effects the majority of strength characters.
@@johd5702 rather the fight is fair or “balanced” doesn’t matter they are trying to see who would actually win in a situation like this, so the “they needed to nerf him to make it fair” doesn’t apply because that’s not the point of these videos. I’m not discrediting the video I said that more as a reply to the comment, not criticism to the vid
