-I know it's a bit late to say it...but they don't fight with Sonic, they fight with a robot imitating Sonic, the title was like that to make an impression.
-This is episode 3 of "Sonic: The Dark Form", which will be reanimated in the future together with 1 and 2, I never thought that it would become a series and thanks for supporting commenting, I appreciate it very much! :D

Not only is the fight choreography phenomenal, but I love how this fight makes it believable that, when Knuckles and Tails team up, they can realistically put up a very good fight with Sonic! You could’ve had Sonic be untouchable and unfair, but you’ve managed to make a believably fair fight without making anyone too OP! I personally love the idea of Sonic being a talented fighter, but he isn’t Superhero level strong, just very fast and skilled, and this is that idea in perfect execution! One of, if not my favourite fight scene in any animated media I’ve seen!

@-YourAverageGamer- sonic in none of the games or media (besides archie) make him any stronger than most of the animals. They can all reasonable destroy badniks, and robots. It's just sonic who usually is fast enough to keep up and finish fights
@@yebbytail Yeah completely fair. I'm just really used to seeing Sonic fight like a DBZ character, which is cool and all, but I love seeing these more even-leveled fights where speed and agility just so happens to be Sonic's strong point
@toriori553 I agree. Sonic doesnt seem like the type to care about being the strongest guy around or anything like that. He's just a guy trying to have fun and do what he thinks is right, and his agility/speed compliments that personality really well.
@@yebbytailI mean he DOES casually put up good fights/beat 99% of his verse and casually destroy gods but he definitely shouldn’t be as skill as characters like Shadow or Knuckles

@@justanidiot3994 even if Metal Sonic stronger than Sonic (which he’s not due to the Games and comics), My points still stands. Knuckles talks about how Sonic is Not that Strong if he couldn’t be Metal Sonic But They literally fought him two on one and Lost. So that means Knuckles is more pitiful than Sonic even though he was implying that Sonic lost to him.

This is honestly very slow compared to most other other spirte fights
But its way more choreographed and smooth then all of those fast ones

Man you’re animations are so smooth and clean! One of the best I’ve ever seen. I like how the combat is more hand to hand, as most sonic animations just have them speed blitzing and combo-ing eachother, going over the place . Your animations are a bit more slow paced, to add more style to the combat, I like that! Keep up the good work!

The fluidity and pace of how you animate combat reminds me of Sonic Reversal which is probably my all-time favorite sprite animation in terms of choregraphy and combat. Excellent work!

I agree I honestly never knew metal sonic had shapeshifting powers until I met sonic reversal especially episode 3 but now I have seen something more, I love this animation and can't wait for more hopefully we can see more of what happens if they defeat metal and if eggman has any more robots with the same abilities like maybe metal shadow or metal knuckles!
@@TorontoTransit3722 he can also copy bio-data from all living things, I think Sonic Rivals 2 uses this a lot. So, during this battle, Metal should have gotten Knuckles and Tails abilities
I recommend you reading the IDW comics, you don't have to read many numbers to see his skills in action

so smooth and the choegraphy is great! i love how i recognised quite a few of the songs there! i loved the moment where sonic, tails and knuckles teamed up on metal sonic, i remember it being from one of the sonic rpg flash games (the turn-based combat ones?)

Personally your art style is different than most sonic sprite fights because all they do is run around comboeing each other, giving the Watcher time to Process and register the current things happening instead of having them run around the screen
