Sooo, my question about P/E ratio that I asked on your Oracle video was answered here! Not surprising in the least. I'll check out your framework videos! Thanks, Parkev!
considering we are in the beginning of an era where AI is becoming more and more utilized on a daily basis, and that nvidia is huge factor in AI, I personally don’t think selling should even be an idea at this point.
Just bought another share this morning and made 100$. And that’s hardly anything because I have only 17 shares. A friend of mine who got me to invest in nvidia has 270 shares
Hi Parkev, I find this video very confusing after your recent video where you talked about your prediction for 2030, saying Nvidia could reach 1000$ per share in the next 6 years. It would be great if you could explain it. thanks.
Almost everyday I hear that hyperscalers are developing their own chips that will push Nvidia out of its leadership. This is some game played by smart money to scare off retail investors. If it was that easy to design a new GPU that could compete with Nvidia's, than AMD or Intel would have accomplished it already. Instead they still struggle to offer some kind of competition even for the H100. In fact they seem to give up on this. It takes decades to design and manufacture products like these how can a company with no experience and RnD do it in couple of months.
Competition is good… But, NVDA is a really strong competitor… AMD is the best second choice… When does anyone decide to build their own…. House, car, boat, plane…. AI chips…? Right up there with rolling your cigarettes… do it for fun, for sport… but not for saving billions of dollars… 😃
Up and Down brother if you not a daytrader Then chill and hold for 3-6 years but still keep and eye for the updates they make ore china gonna invade Thaiwan otherwise chill and hold 🍯🍯🍯🍯🐝
Out at $126. Upside minimal from here, and down side huge in the coming months. NVDA is very much like Amazon at the top of the tech bubble. Amazon was the future, everybody knew it. Yet it fell by 90%. I don't see a 90% drop, but 60% is very likely given the historic nature of bubbles. Buy buy back at 60-70 would be a good entry.
The analysis in the video is technically sound. However, selling a stock depends on behavioral finance too. For example, in my case I will trim or sell my position in NVDA only if and when, in the future, 1) I’ll need that money or 2) if the stock crashes reaching the price I paid to buy it in 2023, plus inflation. Otherwise, I will let the stock go up, lateral, down, and pass it to my next generation.
It would be great if you would discuss whether the investments in ai infrastructure are beginning to pay off. How likely is it that LLMs will generate income.
Thank you for the reply. But I just don’t understand. In that video where you predicted $1000 by 2030, you assumed that price of NVDA if it continues its current trajectory at that time. 3 weeks later you’re suggesting to sell at $200. If I believed a stock was going to 10x in 5 years, no way I’m taking the risk to sell too soon. Parkev, you know way more than I do. I own 800 shares at $95. But what you’re suggesting is swing trading and not investing. I value your input and videos, but not sure what to make of the relatively bearish call with respect to the $1000 prediction 3 weeks ago. NVDA is my only position.

Thanks Parkev for this very useful perspective on things 👍 For me, the speed of innovation is also important in determining whether a stock is worth holding long-term, regardless of the current chart. For Nvidia, the GPU development cycle is 1 year, while the server life cycle is 5 years!

Its a cyclical business - they are selling hardware! Another big reason in my opinion is nobody is short selling this stock so smart money has a strong reason to cash out from this risky stock. This is the only reason why Tesla is not coming down because its a popular short sell among retail investors so smart money gives it an occasional bounce. No such story with Nvidia so it will end up like a Cisco, where a forever high will be set for decades to come.
Do you have concerns about NVDA concentrated customer base? How likely do you think the big customers would pull back their investments in Nivida's AI chips?
I grade a stock like I grade a research paper. There are factors that add points and factors that decrease. High customer concentration is a deduction. The magnitude of deduction is determine by the magnitude of concentration.
Today’s concentration can’t be spread very quickly… NVDA can’t produce enough chips to support the next level of customers… Oddly, it’s a supply challenge, not a customer/sales challenge… 😃

I think the meaning of Mr. Parkev to sell Nvidia at $200 per share is just to take the top off, not your entire holdings of NVDA, because if you DCAed in all these years at very low average prices, you don’t have to sell all your shares, even when the price goes up to $200/s. By then, the EPS could be adjusted to a new and higher level, let’s say EPS @ 6.0, which will bring down the forward PE to a new comfortable level @ about 18. So by just taking the top off can help your average price even lower. Then you will have extra cash to move in when it really dips down again in the future.
Great comment thank you. Here's what I never really understood, my average price is $73. Can I dollar cost average with the current share prices being above my average price? I've never bought any more shares since I purchased it around February of this year.
@@bugnut82 there’s no hurry to add more shares at this point of time since today alone it went up 8%. You can wait until it goes down to close to $100 or even lower.
