Yes, it's true there are some things I'm still working on in my voice. Starting from an F4 and ascending to C5 (Tenor high C) is still difficult for me because it requires I start in my first passage and ascend into my second passage with very little time to correct.
Oh nooo, I wasn't at all clear, I apologise, I meant in my voice when I was doing it, I heard a little strain. As someone with perfect pitch i never sang in my life till two days ago. I don’t have problems reaching high I struggle with low. After doing tests and asking singers around me they say im a Baritone type and have F#2-C#5 Vocal Range. I can mimic just about any sound hearing it once. I just lack breathing practice.
Before I watched this video, I've just used roughly only my throat. But you taught me using my full-body is the best way to sing! I'm trembling for further improvement!!!!!!
My last year music teacher taught me this, it lasted for a while but now I forgot about it because she doesn't teach me anymore. Instead I'm learning marimbas because it's the only free music option in my school. I want to sing "Billie Jean" because Michael Jackson is one of my favourite music artists and this is gonna help a lot. R.I.P. Michael Jackson, you will be missed.
I feel like I'll never properly learn, without me being anxious about if I'm being too loud, because I really don't want to disturb the neighbors. I often find myself having to suppress myself to be quieter, which ends up in me sounding terrible.
I've been singing heaps in class and at home because it's really fun last year I did a school concert and I was the "lead" singer and I have trouble projecting my voice it's almost embarrassing, and since everyone else in my school band has been working on their playing skill I feel like I should up my game as well!
Never looked on RUclips for this type of content before. Used to sing when I was a kid and have done a bit in the car. Would like to find my voice again as it’s a good uplifter. Will be subscribing and working in my voice going forward.
Hey my friend you told me about singing in the head voice (your own voice) and I've been practicing for the past week and I notice a difference in having way more air and competing more sensences. I'm truly thanks full for your tips! Maybe one day I can sing.
I came from a long line of musicians. Mom played paino and sang, aunt played drums and could carry a tune pretty well, grandmother played guitar, great grandfather played guitar and mandolin (I think) great uncle played drums. I just want to be able to belt out legendary vocals. I've long since given up on playing an instrument.
I know most of this because I have been connected to Ramsey Voice Studio for a good while. Wonderful videos and learning opportunities for people who want to sing!

Love your lessons and reactions as well. If you want to try something new and amazing. A very different genre of music, very old but modernized for today's viewers. If you can analyze one performance may be you began to like it. You might be also opening yourself to a new musical world with new and exciting techniques, may be also helpful to you as well. You would be opening yourself a brand new audience who loves that music and I am sure would love your original take on it. Sometimes new thing provides a fresh perspective even if knew it before. I would highly recommend coke studio "chaap Tilak" and many others from coke studios (stand tall during singing😁 such see the video)
I sing in the baritone to tenor range, a bit lower than most. I have a vocal measuring tool and the lowest I can go is F2, the highest used to be was A4. I’m up a few notes now to a C5, but there I plateaued. The “nay” exercise helped a bit.
All of my friends can sing, my bestfriends can both sing very good. I used to be aboe to sing when i was a kid but it all went away when i hit puberty. Im hoping to get better
Thanks for this video. I've decided that I want to improve my singing a bit. I've been taking guitar lessons for several years now and singing along is still hard for me. But it helps me to learn and write music even though it sounds awful right now... This video is quite practical :)

@@Shindai yes it's very common to strain up in that area!!! I'm a prime example, LOL
Not sure where you started, or ended the Ahs, but they all sounded good to me. Same with the Nays.
@@ramseyvoicestudio can you make a video on all these singing related vocab too
I’ve been doing musical theatre for nearly 9 years now but i still wanna be better at singing so am watching every video to help with that!
My man…first few sentences and you completelly got me into !!! Amazing, Let’s go !!
I feel like I'll never properly learn, without me being anxious about if I'm being too loud, because I really don't want to disturb the neighbors. I often find myself having to suppress myself to be quieter, which ends up in me sounding terrible.
I feel you
Omg that’s exactly how I feel rn
I've been singing heaps in class and at home because it's really fun last year I did a school concert and I was the "lead" singer and I have trouble projecting my voice it's almost embarrassing, and since everyone else in my school band has been working on their playing skill I feel like I should up my game as well!
I have always struggled with my low voice projecting. My high range, I should be in an opera. I've had a mic taken away, I was to loud.
Im afraid my siblings will hear me doing these voice exercises and they will judge me and be like 'what tf are you doing?' i get nervous and insecure
same idk what to do since there's no such thing as privacy in this damn house
Kindly ignore them and continue to practice 👌 ♥️
Me: AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH
Teacher:great job
😂
I came from a long line of musicians. Mom played paino and sang, aunt played drums and could carry a tune pretty well, grandmother played guitar, great grandfather played guitar and mandolin (I think) great uncle played drums. I just want to be able to belt out legendary vocals. I've long since given up on playing an instrument.
I know most of this because I have been connected to Ramsey Voice Studio for a good while. Wonderful videos and learning opportunities for people who want to sing!
Wow, it's been made apparent that if I wanna get good at this it'll be a long journey, but these uploads will surely make that journey a bit easier. Thank you for making this channel and uploading tutorials and exercises for how to improve your vocal skills.
Thanks for the tutorial, I always wanted to have that amazing singing voice and you helped build the start of that journey! I already improved so much in just under an hour I couldn't of done it without this full-fledged video guide! 😀
Hey, that uh 1:30 part kinda made me cry for some reason. It just kinda hit in a sense, i was kinda feeling like i won't be better, as ive always been insecure of my voice. I have no ossue talking with people its just like a uh dormant feeling? But ima give it a shot B)
Im just here to learn new techniques now a days. I took 12 years of vocal lessons in the 90's. These are way better.
In the very first lesson, you have hit the nail on the right spot! I realised my interest in learning singing was lukewarm!
Decided to practice at 3 am. My roommate, “Shut the fuck up!”
Lmao.
Is there anybody here pre midnight?
i'm actually here post midnight because my sleep routine is f*cked
8am but I just got off work. 😂
11:33 PM
Here at 2:56 pm
6:49pm, my friends and I wanna make a song and I’m the vocalist so I gotta be ready
I love your videos!!! They are so helpful!!!
You are too nice lol
@@phyuphyuthant2 u can never be too nice
Ramsey, my guy, you are a blessing made from heaven. As I actively participated in all your warm up exercises in my Grandpa’s garage like a moron, I surprisingly went from sounding like Lil Bow Wow to Mariah Carey. 😂 I’m totally capping, but seriously, your voice teaching ability is from out of this world. You’re now officially my personal trainer if you so let me. Such an honor and privilege to have come across your RUclips Channel, any way I can show my appreciation or support, just let me know.
I'm a euphonium, and trombone player wanting to take up singing this here has help as I'm very monotone in my voice.
Thanks for these lessons! it gives me something to do while I'm at work and alone😁
I can sing but the problem is that sometimes I kinda lose my singing voice in the middle of performing so this is the reason I am watching you extremely good vocal coach thanks a lot!✨
This video is hilarious lol I like the fake bad sounding voices 😂 thank you for this I want to learn how to sing. People have said I can be pretty good sometimes throughout my life but I never practiced or did any lessons. I wonder if I could become amazing if I practice. I’m gonna aim for it.
When you said you were gonna teach me the same way Michael was taught i thought a belt would be involved. I'm relieved.
You helped me a lot I've improved my singing skills with just one video
I'm using ur video for listening practice ur voice is so clear? idk how to say it but I really like ur voice
Thank you so well for this lesson.
It was helpful.
I live in an apartment building, my neighbours will HATE me but they can't complain because I'm making my bathroom rockstar dream come true.
I don't why but today I randomly found the urge to learn to sing better
I had a dream about going on a world tour and now im here and i dont know where to start thank you for teaching me
your editing skills are amazing , thank you for sharing this great video .
Amazing! So professional and I feel more confident after trying this. Thank you :)
So happy I found your content! Great work :)
I've trained abt 1 month and the result sounds pretty good
It’s 5:46am and I’m motivated to sing . I decided to take vocal lesson 😂😂
Trying out for a band in my area wish me luck
At 00:00, I made the decision to turn my dreams into reality and begin learning how to sing. At 27.
got my first diamond record, thanks homie ❤
Not me doing this quietly at night cuz everyone is sleeping😂😂
So far the best vocal video I have seen. Thanks a lot!
