    That was a very interesting mystical interpretation. The shin is on the tefillin to represent the word Shema is that correct?

      @@JewishCatholic I think that's equally valid.
      Did a bit of research and they also have the letters Dai and yod represented on their bodies somewhere else apparently to represent Shadai and even looking into that has huge mystical meanings I feel as it might have quite a few different meanings...another rabbit hole.
