I just finished this and my wife really likes it, I think because it's the cheapest hobby I've ever entered into. I find that these paracord projects are a lot like chess, especially the heart which came out really nice. There is just no way to explain"adjust the knot". You have to envision the knot and follow the cord back and back moving the cord as needed to get it just right. If you get to the good enough stage, put it down and come back later. I did that twice. I now have two really cool dog collars and a heart bracelet to my name. Each one gets progressively better and more uniform. I'm amazed at the time that passes when you are doing these. Thanks for the video!

***** how would i modify this to work with a buckle? I just prefer the buckle design over knot and tie.

Thank you for this beautiful set of instructions. I am a Congenital Heart Defect patient and have been wanting to make a special bracelet for my Heart Defect friends and your pattern is perfect. Our colors are red and blue, so happy with results.

Thanks for the video. Seems like I can't get past the part with the heart. While the cord is loose, I can form the heart shape fine, but I think I'm either over or under tightening it when I'm supposed to the "make heart shaped and firm" part. It ends up looking like some blob knot or if I don't tighten it enough I'm afraid the shape is just gonna be lost as soon as something bumps it.
Ah well, thanks again I'll keep at it.

Ok, so I see everyone commenting stuff like, "Beautiful work", and, "Great job!", and all that's true, but I'm not seeing me at people saying, "WTF??!! Wait, hold on. Oh, what? Well, how did they do that??!!! I give up...".
    So I'd like to say,
WTF??!! Wait, hold on. Oh, what? Well, how did they do that??!!! I give up...

Hi, I do not speak English but I will do my best to write coherent, in my country there are various types of paracord . I found one called KEVLAR , another called Paracord 550, another called Microcord and finally Nanocord . My question is which of these should I get to make these bracelets. Would you help me a lot with your answer, thank you very much . I love your videos.

Fanny Soto Paracord 550...it's just a more durable version than the 450 he's using here.

También puedes hacer nudos en la llamada "Cola de rata". Es menos fuerte que la cuerda de paracaidista, pero es mas flexible y se ve mejor.
