That's quite easy. You take sample let's say 1litre and it has 200 grams of fish. In 1000 litres then 200kg of fish. Then you repeat it like 5 times to make sure you didn't take a faulty sample and write an average. It's surprising how accurate this method is.

Yes there's regulations on the amount, size, weight, season and species fisherman can fish to ensure the ocean will remain plentiful for all including the marine animals. This is how it works people. If you are a carnivore, pescatarian and/or vegetarian... you pay grocery stores to supply you with your daily nutrients and as a result you are paying for the vegetables and fruits (that can be eaten by small animals & wildlife), poultry and meats (that can be eaten by consumers/predators), and fish & crustacean (that can be eaten by consumers/predators). Its life and a part of food chain that existed for centuries. Get over it! Why come to these videos like abundant fishing, meat/poultry processing just to complain?!?
