I don't think they need awards, even if they mean something to devs to just have. If the fans they set out to capture embrace it, buy it and it's talked about past it's prime, that's more success than an award show likely forgotten by the next one.
@@asisin2 Well not really. Cyberpunk won an award because the devs kept at it and fixed the game. Astro Bot won GOTY this year. I don't see there being an agenda behind any of those.

This game is, honest to god, a miracle. Made with a driving passion, supported by like minded fans, continuously enhanced and worked on for five years after launch... And is still loved to this day. Sure it has its flaws, and one always wonders what it would look like if it took an SotN artstyle approach, but there is no questioning the love Bloodstained gives and receives, while still not only being an excellent game at its core but also one of the few out there that kept all of its promises it made back in its Kickstarter days. Bless this game.
@VentusFury that's what should have happened thou. They got Belgrade back to voice O.D. why not make O.D. playable too? Would have been full circle since Belgrade voiced Alucard for SoTN. But no.... We got child of light. Gg....
@specterRaven it was the three characters Miriam, Zangetsu, The true villain woman, and Bloodless (as bonus). I don't really count CoL as part of the "three" promised since it's just a collab
