4 of the kids in it are siblings to a member and many of the kids are friends of the members families. TOC is an amazing group of the best young men you will ever find and they genuinely had fun with these kids & the kids adore each member! It was an experience they will not forget!

Growing up, my folks were like the kids holding their ears to the metalcore music i loved.
My brother is four years old and as soon as the music started playing tears welled up in my eyes because he was dancing and moshing to this. Now I know without a doubt that he is my little brother and not just some kid that showed up at my house one day.
This is probably one of the best music videos I've seen. The kids reactions are freakin awesome. and the lyrics themselves are awesome
If you like this, I highly suggest seeing them live. They're BETTER live than in the recordings

This band turned out to be much more than I expected, I've been listening to them since they started out, and they've come pretty far, I have to say, I am beyond impressed with this song, and the video makes it that much better, this band has always been great, and they just keep getting better :3

I saw these guys perform not too long ago; I had no idea who they were at the time. I must say, they put on AN AMAZING show!!!! No doubt about it! My immediate reaction was, "OH-MY-GOSH...Each one of these members is on a different type of drug...I FUCKING LOVE IT!!!" They were super interactive with the crowd and you could tell they love what they do. I hope to see them again in the future now that I am more aware of their music.
For real! I've heard they needed an ambulance one time... Saw these guys for the first time 3 years ago. Then me and my old band played a show with them a little while later... These guys have a good rep where I'm from.
They're badass! Only 4 people were getting down to them, nobody really knew who they were; but the energy!!! It was so great. It made me and my friend want to go look them up and actually get to know their music :)

If this was at the El Corazon in Seattle, then yeah, that was most definitely me. I was the only other person in the audience that was as tall as Kyle aside from the hulking brute that tried to drop kick me into the stage.

Originality isn't so much an opinion as it is a state of being. It means bringing up a new concept or idea to the plate. It's someones opinion whether or not they like this song, but regardless of their musical tastes, this is still original.
I'm really hoping that these guys earn more recognition now that they're signed to solid state.

A friend described The Ongoing Concept as "Maylene and the Sons of Disaster smoked methamphetamine for the first time." It's a valid assessment. Exchange the traditional Western flourishes for some funky Dixieland vibes, and update the delivery for 2013, with an awareness of recent post-hardcore developments and a hint of youthful hipster sensibility. Over-analysis aside, this song is bad-ass. I've found a new guilty pleasure and a new reason to pay attention to Solid State.

Telecasters are so awesome for metal. The trademark twang makes bouncy riffs sound incredible. Wicked band, too.
This band has no idea how great this was for the city these children live in. These kids are going to be impacted but this life experience so much that they are all going to want to now play an instrument. In 10 years that city is going to have a decent music scene if it wasn't already. Bands should do this in all the small towns to spark life and creativity in the youth. I wish it happened to my class when I was a kid so that I wasn't the only kid that played music with no one to play with.

I found this randomly throwing the word "ongoing" into the search and this is really great. This summarizes how I felt a lot being in middle school. It also captured in the opening bit how disturbing and creepy teachers speak.

Yeah, got this song through the Solid State summer sampler a week or two ago. The sampler is great all around this year, but this really caught my ear. I'm keeping an eye on these guys. Gotta keep the metal/hardcore scene fresh and this is a fantastic way to do it.
You need to wait for the Saloon EP. Their older stuff is different, but good. Their upcoming LP is so unique that it will blow your mind. I love it, and I jam to it daily.
To all the people wondering about the painting in the video. I painted it and it has nothing to do with ABR. It's just a painting and it doesn't mean anything.That's just the style and colors that I decided to use that day. I don't think I've even seen the covers of ABR's albums before. I hope that clears it up for all of you so enjoy the video! Thanks!
