Im wondering what the difference is between the on-off joystick and the proportional joystick? Also does the on-off joystick come standard on 7600 infinity models?
Hi Sebastian, An on-off joystick is either on or off, with no ability to meter the response of the action being performed. A proportional joystick allows you to meter your selected function's response based on how far you move the joystick in a given direction. The more you move it, the great the speed or volume of the response. There is no on/off joystick available for the the 7600 models. They come standard with no joystick. There are two joystick options you can add and both are proportional. I hope that answers your question. Thanks for watching.
I have the SRH9800, the older dash and joystick, the button to engage the PTO does not do anything, I turn the PTO on and off with the dash button? Also, it seams that my float for the lift does not work, when I engage it, it slowly lowers the implement to the ground… any idea how to fix this?
I wish I could help, but if it is something electronic your best bet is to take it in to your dealer or repair shop. My understanding of the float function is that it should allow your implement to follow the contours of the ground, so it would make sense that it would lower the implement to the ground. But I may be missing something. Hopefully your local dealer can help.
Thanks for watching. I would be happy to make a video about that but I don't have any tractors left with the previous gen joystick or dash. Is there something you are having trouble with?
@@conorhams hi, thank you for responding :). We bought a used SRh9800 for our vineyards, I ma slowly figuring out the options. The problem is, the manual is quite illogical sometimes and the translation to english sometimes does not make sense. There is nothing in my language, Croatian, I speak German as well, same issue, very confusing and illogical.
@@conorhams i’ve learned more from your videos than anything AC published, printed…. I wish they had corporate videos more in this line rather than fancy video effects, music… we are farmers, not hipsters using these tractors. :))

@@conorhams than you for your response. We do not have a dealer in my country yet, I imported mine from Italy. :)
Could you do a video like this with the previous gen Joystick and the speed control dash please.
