- A lot of people requesting this, so here it is.
Sorry for the delay on the DLC soundtracks offical release! Slammed with too many other things at the moment but very close to wrapping that up.
The first half of this is new content, and the second half is a callback to the end credits from the original game with added vocals and a different edit. It ended up working really well under video and the credits track was only used once, so... why not!

beautiful work Gareth. Music plays as much as an important part in a video game as graphics, story, and gameplay, it ties everything together into a truly memorable experience

IT'S a Game GOD ...
I am honestly mind boggled on how you are able to develop these tracks, it just doesn’t seem humanly possible to me. You are a god of your craft Gareth, be proud of yourself.
Honestly, neither do I sometimes, but thank you for these very kind words. Some tracks like Overseer from ARK, or Light of Nibel from Ori, I don't remember a single thing about the process of writing for them. Every so often when writing, I fall into a kind of trance-state / weird-zen thing and several hours later I emerge with a track, remembering only the start and the end of the process. It usually happens towards the end of a project when I'm fully wrapped up in everything and know it all inside-out. The goal when writing is to try and get to that magical place as often as possible, but it's very challenging.
I’m working on a big project at the moment, and have been working on it for a year and a half now. It so far has 200 pages of script and an hour and twenty minutes of a soundtrack. With this said, I can promise you I’ll keep what you told me in mind. I can tell what you’ve said will definitely get me in a path I need to be in, it’s obviously done well for you in the long run. Thanks man, I appreciate it.

This made me cry. Truly a heart shattering moment in ark.. I feel like this dlc really changed the game and this ending really was a way to convey that change.
I'm a 35yo dude. And watching all the arks return to Earth made ME cry!

Nah I cried at the abberation ending but ngl still a great ending nun the less and am thrilled to see the genesis ending.

Heart warming I loved ARK and when I saw the end of extinction I loved the theme and everything about ark
I straight cried because this was such a good ending to ark and I also cried because I died over 30 times fighting the king titan
This is the most triumphant score of anything I've ever heard. You capture the emotion of each dlc so well. Ark with its adventures, aberration with the mystery and darkness, and extinction with that "last stand" feel. Absolutely beautiful work here. You are easily one of the beat composers of this generation. Please never stop
Scorched Earth has that fantastic desert vibe and Genesis part 2 also has that last stand feel, as well as a tragic one, concerning Rockwell.
I literally cannot put into words how much I love your work. Either how calm it is, epic, or energetic, I love all of it. ARK, Ori, or anything else you compose for. Its all wonderful. All Beautiful.
ARK's innitial trailer lead me to all of your work and man, Its been around with me ever since. Kinda shaped my childhood a bit. That was a Lie, Alot actually. Cant wait to hear everything you make in the future!

When you first played this music 3 years ago, I cried a lot... then I had 2000 hours in the game. Now I have about 10000 hours. And when I listen to this music again, I cried a lot. I will never forget this game in my life. Thank you Gareth.
Your music completes ARK, you nail it with the atmosphere on every track, whether it be fighting a trike on the Southern Islets, or defeating the Overseer. It’s astounding to see modern musicians this good, and no other game has a soundtrack that stands out as much as ARK’s

Aside from official mega tribe pvp, this game is known for its music, it’s what makes it stand out more from the other online survival games. This games soundtrack deserves multiple awards
Epic, beautiful and emotionally well done! The passion you compose into these amazing tracks is absolutely incredible. When I first heard this as I played the ending, I was like "wow." There's something about the 0:45 - 1:00 mark that reminds me so much of the Mass Effect franchise though, and that's a good thing as I'm a fan of the series, I would love to see Bioware pick you up for their next Mass Effect entry if possible! That is If they do end up making another one anytime soon.

The whole piece is epic. The massive climax throughout it, the. It hits you with “end credits” right before the main ark theme. Masterpiece
The ARK soundtrack is truly a masterpiece Gareth. It’s up there with the greats - as a huge fan of game soundtracks your work really is phenomenal. I wish I could hear it live. Amazing talent Gareth! Keep it up!

Just incredible! Gareth, I appreciate your music so much. The Ori soundtrack has basically been on loop during this last year of dissertation writing. The InMomentum soundtrack is one of my go-tos for long runs where I just want to block everything else out. I recommend your music to all my friends because they're really missing out! I can't wait for the Will of the Wisp OST!

Still have yet to beat this or any ARK map, but the wordless soprano solo brings tears every time I listen to this track, and it just builds up to that triumphant drop and glorious final reprise of the series theme. The original Ascension is a banger and this version STILL tops it.

Gareth Coker you know how to make a song burrow into the hearts of people who play these games every time I get into a battle in ark is a whole world in itself with the music to accompany the place the battle is and ranging in intensity this is by far my favorite works from any game thank you for helping in make ark my favorite game

And when you pay attention, it literally takes you through the lore of every map.

I do wish that since they discontinued the Console Version that they used the tracks in the Bedrock edition. Well, at least we can still play the games with the music until they discontinue the online services!

Gareth this music gives me almost a tear gripping feeling every time I listen to it. This map came out and was supposed to be the last one and this just makes you reflect on the adventures that brought you to that point. You are definitely on par with those of the likes of Marty ODonnel

Will of the Wisps OST release will be handled by Microsoft and their partners. I imagine / hope we'll release it in the same or similar way we did for the first game, either day of, or day before the game comes out.
I’m an impatient man, but seems understandable. I’m excited to hear it, it’s indefinitely one of my highlights to sink my teeth into upon the game’s upcoming. I’m sending my gratitude your way, have the best of luck.

Gareth Coker is just a musical genius, he also did the soundtrack for Ori and the Blind Forest and the upcoming Ori and the Will of the Wisps. So I'd recommend checking out the music for those games as well
